not paid yet..only got an email yesterday from CAA to say that Thomson will be in touch within the next four weeks.

I was delayed last year in Crete for 5hrs. I've completed Thomson's forms online on the 7th Jan and received an email saying they will investigate and get back to me within 28 days.


So far I've heard nothing, is this normal? what else can I do?

I have never posted before, but checked weekly to keep up to date and seek advice. Finally after 19 months a cheque has arrived this morning for £1246.36. Did it myself by following advice from this forum. Big thank you to everyone for posting advice and giving me the determination to continue with the flight. Many thanks

Dominican Republic mid March 2012 25 hour delay on flight back to gatwick. A friend got a letter and cheque today - sterling equivalent of 1200Euro for him and his wife. He's been badgering Thompsons whenever possible, whereas I left it to him after about May 2012. Needless to say a letter will head to them tomorrow asking for the same!

If any of you were on that flight, get your claim in to Thompsons now!!
