Has anybody claimed against TC for flight TCX2514 from Manchester to Hurghada on 25/4/14 which was delayed for just over 27hours and if so was the claim successful?

Thanks all. Well the only reason I wouldn't go through with the court hearing is if they paid up in the meantime - I mean to see it through now I've come this far!! I'll have a look at the different advice on here plus a friend of mine works for the CPS so I'm sure she has some good advice on prepping for court! I'll let you all know how things progress.

Do read the FAQs so you understand all the issues about making a small claims court claim.

Yeah I've already read the FAQ's, I have a friend at a Solicitors who deals with their accident comp. claims and he advised just to hang fire until the Jet2 Appeal Court Case so I haven't even approached TC yet but as it is thought Jet2 will Appeal he advised I write to TC but just wondered if anybody else had claimed. I've been told somebody on the flight got £1000 plus a free flight so I didn't want to send the stock letter asking for 600euro if they are paying out more.

Well it will be up to you to find the person who was paid out more than they were entitled to, good luck.
