Or will the court take into account that TC have refused this information to me telling me this is a private matter
Was your plane the plane that had the EC or was it a previous flight that then delayed your plane! what other option do you have this is what TC want, take them to court0 -

It was last November. I don't know what step to text to take really after receiving that letter. Any help would be appreciated?0 -
Is there a list of flight numbers people have successfully claimed for (and maybe the stated cause of the delay/cancellation if known)? If not would it be possible to have one?0

Yes - the lawyer was clear that incidents on previous flights could not count as ECs.
I have researched 241/2004 for 4.5 yrs and never seen this written in the regulation or any of the relevant case law.
Can anyone please point me in the right direction as our delay was due to its late arrival from its previous sector.0 -

If you are at the court stage, request via court the full reason of the technical issue citing TC as unreasonable not to disclose the actual reason for the delay. Additionally, you could also point out to the court that more frivolous claims maybe submitted and its about case management for courts to route out cases not suitable for a court hearing.
We obtained our information by writing to the Air Accident Investigation Service.0 -
Success, kinda! Sent off template letter 28 days ago and today received a letter with a voucher for TC for £1391. Anyone had anything similar and should I reject and request cash payment? Thanks0
