I am completely godsmacked  He dumped you just because you patiently and calmly insisted that he transferred the money that he owed you...because you should have known that he had no intention on doing so in the timescale that HE promised....

4 years together, all that devotion, these sacrifices, those compromises, and this is enough for him to want to finish with you? What a compete utter plunker...

How are you feeling OP? I really feel for you. How painful to have it thrown in your face that you were worth so little to him. There is no doubt that you are well rid of him, but for it to happen this way must be devastating :( It was probably anger talking, no doubt he will come and crawl back, but anger or not, he did it, broke up with you in the most coward and insulting way, as a result of his own deficiencies, and that just cannot be ever erased.

I really hope you are ok

You got your money back. This means that he got over himself and thinks that he is still in with a chance of coming back. It is a dead cert he will be back, otherwise you would not have the money.

Think on this and make your plan for when he does come back.
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'

How long does everyone think it will be before he comes crawling back? Well, trying to anyway! I give it three days!

He'll be back, give a vague apology, immediately followed by a 'but' that will involve blaming OP for him losing his cool and saying things he didn't mean.... and that if she wants the relationship to work, she will have to 1/accept him as he is and 2/not provoke him by trying to control him (read reminding him to do what he said he would do).

well as he forgot about the £200 overdraft he has, and now has paid £150 to the OP, that still leaves another £50 he'd forgotten he had for this month - so I guess by the start of next week at the latest he'll be back saying it was all a dreadful mistake, he didn't mean any of it, he loves you and can't live without you(r money) blah blah blah.

I'm glad you're free of him OP. I hope your son enjoys his Ski trip :)
