I can't see anything on first glance, but just wondered do you have an emergency fund in place 'just in case' to stop you resorting to using credit cards etc?Mortgage Overpayments 2024/25 - September-December, £152.46. Nothing jumps out at me. I'm popping in to tell you a joke to make you smile, either at the joke or at my silliness for thinking its funny
I cleaned the attic with the wife the other day. Now I can't get the cobwebs out of her hair.
Hope it works

Morning
Thanks for your comments and LMAO re the joke Granny, thanks it really did cheer me up
Havent got hossie insured, have had problems in past with insurance and just not worth the cost so fingers and hooves crossed will find a way to pay if the worse comes.
So paypal money withdrawn from weekends sales, paid some pennies into the bank yesterday and had £20 in a savings a/c which will be better of at the debt at the moment so total of £31 to the credit card today
Will be ebaying my little heart out now every spare night I can do starting tonight as it is the best way to raise funds to clear the cards. Had a quick look at mortgage calculators and maybe £40K short to re-mortgage if I had no debt, if I had debt would be £50K short so that £10k is definitely worth thinking about. I need a mortgage of £156K so maybe investigating my parents helping me out, watch this space as they say as going to try my hardest not to sell the house if at all possible.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Thatsok, I keep thinking about trying to ditch grapes insurance and try to self insure, there's so many hoops with it these days I'm not sure it's completely worth it!!!
Just wasn't sure if you'd forgotten to ad it,that's why I mentioned it.Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

Thanks again re the hoss insurance, used to pay £18 a month for old pony and they wouldnt insure one leg due to a freak accident which I didnt even claim on as was before I had insurance and then wouldnt insure anything to do with COPD so was getting a bit pointless as as soon as made a claim wouldnt insure that particular part  So quit the insurance and hope for the best
Feeling pro-active last few days as know where I need to go. So have received my new credit card, balance transfer has gone through, did have OH as additional card holder but have cancelled that today. Have set up min payment DD and made note of first payment date in case it doesnt go through in time. Have registered for online banking here too. Going to use this for food shop as get bonus nectar points and then pay straight off. Nectar card is OH's so need to get another one for myself and start collecting my own points.
Another 6 items listed on ebay last night and will do some again tonight.
Going to poo pick field on friday night as not good time for ebay bits to end then.
Have updated my signature showing the debt that is purely in my name, not as bad as I thought it was, havent included parents loan in totals just the figures I need to concentrate on getting rid of now.
Min payments to all of the debts are around £100 to NWG, £60 to Sain and £30 to sofa so around £200 a month paid of straight away. Just need to keep up those overpayments so I can get rid of them faster.
Have received a form from NW re poss PPI I had on a loan, need to do some investigation to see whether I am entitled to refund, watch this space as they say, any extra money is nice to have.
Going to make an appointment about transferring mortgage so need to get some research done before that. Going to do proper budget to take, confirmation of my pay rise, going rates for lodger renting out room so can be prepared as I can.
Also considering taking over the cleaning of the office, going to ask as we have one twice a week, wouldnt be too much extra work, easily fit it in round life and the hossie, am here a lot of the time on my own so can just keep on top of it while I am working, but maybe bringing in a few extra pennies. Definitely worth an ask.
So on that note better go and send that emailDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Thanks Caz for the heads up, have been listing lots of 99p items but have a few large items so sunday it will be for those, fab
Sold another 3 items last night, 2 have paid and awaiting postage today, another few pounds in the pot once I work out fees etc. Listed another 3 items again last night.
Pay day today. Have sent £100 to my NWG from budget as not needed hairdresser, farrier and horse food this month. So nearly under £3k again just £45 to find. Should be able to put at least another £100 from overbudget this month too, plus ebay sales and survey money slowly coming through am getting there
Out Sat night with parents for dinner but they are paying, got hoss trainer on sunday but already have cash out for that. Not sure of Mondays plans, may go and see a friend if not maybe some time with the hossie.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
