Confessing my sins on here, not a NSD, spent £4 on a magazine and a bar of chocolate, didnt really need to have loads of mags at home to read and plenty of food for lunch :( Was waiting for prescription for chemist and should have taken a walk around the block instead.

I wonder when magazines got so expensive. I picked one up the other day and it was £5  But they are so nice to wander through and rest the brain :D

    We won't mention the chocolate....

Morning, Lucielle I like your thinking, it was one of those new Malteaser bars, yum :D

It was slightly offset by stationers bringing in some party rings so as I am the only one that eats them in the office have taken them home to save me a few pennies ;)

NSD today as no need to go out and get anything. Lunch brought in. No ebaying last night as it was so nice so took advantage and cleared the field of poo, out there till nearly 9pm but wont need doing for another week now.

Payday today, got an extra £30 a month in pay packet due to personal allowance :D And got confirmation of my pay rise in July which will be backdated to 1 March so pleased about that as should be another £30 a month plus a small lump sum which can all go the debt pot.

New month new budget and it is very tight but it should be fine. Just need to work out OH's money and can start making some overpayments.

Off to update signature to show no VW finance.

    Morning, nearly the weekend :)

Small spend of £5 yesterday plus cash out. Money spent on roll for lunch and porridge and juice for work so all needed. £20 for farrier on sat and £20 for hoss trainer on sun. Can count the weekend as NSD's.

No ebaying done last night which was really stupid really as had stupid arguments with OH and just want to move on as quickly as possible but cant with the debt hanging over me. I WILL do loads this weekend. Apart from the farrier and trainer nothing else planned so have plenty of time. If the weather is nice must weed the front garden which is starting to look nice now all the plants are settled but needs tidying up.

Mum very kindly gifted me £200 to help clear the debt so have sent that to my cc.

Lots of vouchers being accumulated so can use these soon. Have £4 boots, £10 M&S, £10 Sainsburys and £10 Love2Shop. Will use the sainsburys for food and the rest as presents.

  • Hi Baldybear, just read through your diary. You are doing fantastically clearing your debts off so quickly. Well done :)

I was in a similar situation with my DH last summer and we were on and off :( we are back on now but with debt hanging over us it's tough. He doesn't spend unnecessarily really but he isn't in the MSE mind set and moans at me all the time about cut backs i try to make.

Lovely horsey by the way ;) xx

    Morning :)

Thanks dfw321 have read your diary too, am waaaay behind on most peoples so apologies but you are doing fab :)

So a good weekend for me dfw wise but not so for OH. He just cant seem to stop spending, saturday we had a row so went out for the day by himself bought a paper and McD's while out, came home decided he didnt like anything at home to eat (we have tonnes of different food!) and went out and bought himself a pot noddle. Head wall! Sunday he bought paper and then £10 worth of stuff in sainsbugs for himself. The only redeeming feature I suppose is that he has taken some food in for lunch at work today. Really annoys me but what can I do, just need to forget about it all and try and move on and pay the debts off.

I didnt spend a penny all weekend :D Tidied garden, did 2 loads of washing, cleaned bedroom and scrubbed bathroom. Still didnt do any ebay which is stupid really as this will really help my cause, please kick me to get me to do this.

£50 from horse food budget as been sent to card today and £500 from savings (was keeping for windows etc but this will be the discount they are knocking of) was in ISA but not earning as much interest so will be better of paying the card. Will see my NWG taken under £4k :)
