Morning
Frustrated last night, asked if I could borrow £4 of OH to pay yard owner for doing Phi at weekend, he said ok but needed it back as he was short of money this month. So angry  He had £600 this month after his contribution to the joint a/c he has £148 to car, £80 to min payment say £30 for phone so leaves him with £342 spare money. I know he has already put his fuel bill on his credit card as he wasnt sure how much was in his bank, so where is he spending all the money on. Food for work and general crap. There is plenty of food in the house he could take but cant be bothered. Of couse there is no extra money to make any overpayments. I am so angry. I am working my bits of to get the debt cleared and he cant manage his money at all and is worse and is just continually adding to the debt. Feel like I am going round in circlesGoing to go out and get his £4 to give back to him just so he cant hold it over me.
So need to get out of this toxic situation and just be in charge of my own finances. So will clear my credit cards and the sofa and then think about helping him with his or just let him take it with him as no matter what help I give him he is seemingly throwing it all back in my face.
So call me selfish but am focusing on my debt and once that is cleared will see where I stand about moving on properly.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Morning
Peed of still with OH, stupid little things are winding me up something silly and so frustrated just want out now, my stupid fault for running up debt
Had £1k in ISA which is OH's sons inheritance money been trying to give it to him for ages but things just keep getting in the way. Have spoken to my mum this morning and have used the £1k to pay of some of my debt and then will try and save the £1k after debt paid of to give back to son. If he needs it before then then mum can give it to him.
So this takes my NWG CC to just over £3047. Min payment due out in next week of £104 so will take this under £3k so will be good progress.Going to concentrate on paying this of first, then will focus my efforts on the NWP card which will be the Sainsburys card, just waiting for the transfer and then to the sofa. And then will re-assess the situation on whether help OH clear his debts. Not sure about this one as stated above he just keeps spending on this and doesnt seem to care so wait and see.
Have redeemed some survey money last night but will take few weeks to pay and waiting on some survey vouchers to use as presents. Not counting anything till receivied in my hand.
Checked budget last night and and have left this month enough for 2 x hoss trainer sessions, enough for night out on saturday meal and train, the birthday pressies and a small food shop with a little to spare so pleased about that
Have got a few watchers on ebay tooso hopefully some sales, will try and list some more tonight.
Monday evening took hossie into school with friends to do some desensitising training, over tarpulin, builders bag, big plastic exercise ball, hula hoop that rattles, she didnt bat an eyelid over anything just wanted to eat them all :rotfl:which is fab, nothing seems scary now just check it out because it maybe tastyDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Morning, thanks for the hug Granny much appreciated
Weekend was interesting went to see film and then meal with friends and OH but ended up having a row with OH in front of one of my friends and walked of in central London, prob not the best idea but hey ho, got home ok so now friend knows about us, it all brought it to a head recently. So lots of talk yesterday and we cant carry on like we are, so OH is looking for somewhere to live and the tensions are rife at home
Not sure what the plan is re the debt but still trying to pay everything of asap as will be in a better position once this has happened. Idea is for me to take over the mortgage, prob have to get a lodger but just monitoring situation at the moment.
So next few weeks are going to be funHate seeing OH like this but I cant change the way I feel. Just need that lottery win then OH wouldnt have to worry about money, would give it all to him to stop him moaning!
Good things though..... listed 5 extra items on ebay yesterday, few with watchers on. 4 things sold last night, makes about £7 profit so posting those today
Have just renewed house insurance and renewal was £275 but have changed providers and new price with approx the same cover is £205Had enough savings to pay that in one price without using credit

Sounds like things aren't too fun atm. Hopefully once he moves out the tension will ease and you can see the woods for the trees and decide what to do from there

I was just reading - started yesterday (sound like a right stalker!), cheated today and came to the end first I didn't want to read and run. Crikey, things sure have come to a head. Did OH find a place?
I must say when I read your 4 pound post, I did think Seriously?? 4 out of 600......... Must be so hard when you don't yet agree on some thing as fundamental as money. very difficult indeed.
Hang in there, big hugs if wanted from a stranger!

I'm sorry things are so tough at the moment BB can't be easy for you. Maybe when OH has moved out things will become clearer for both of you.

Morning
Thanks everyone for dropping by and its really appreciated.
Buffy I think you have hit the nail on the head there re not having the same outlook on money. OH asked if I had any cash yesterday so gave him £20 which I had spare from the weekend, could use that better myself but was just easier. Wont get it back tho but hey ho  He spent £3.40 on lunch yesterday and when I went to do hossie even though there is shed loads of food in the house he said he had a headache and couldnt be bothered and spent another couple of pounds on chips from the takeaway  Just makes me angry. I feel tired, poorly sometimes but have a different outlook. Just sums him up really only does something if he wants to.
When I got back from hossie things were ok between the 2 of us so least thats a bit better. He is looking for other places to go so we wait and see.
My mind is buzzing over the things I need to do moneywise and house wise so will probably be writing lots on here to help me remember everything!
Good things today, lunch bought in, a No spend day. £3 from survey site has hit bank so will transfer to cards and have £5 in 2 and 1p's to bank at lunchtime. Small amounts but all helpingDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
