Yesterday went to see good friend in sunny Kent for the day, we were going to go out but just ended up chatting on sofa and watching carp TV, he looked after me and made me lunch and dinner, nice to be spoilt. Chatted for 12 hoursLeft at gone 11, not good when you still have 1hr drive home, could have stayed and talked for another 12 hours
Going to organise to go and see again soon, maybe stay over and then wont be tired on the journey home.
Am mega tired today now, trying to keep myself awake at work
Sold 3 more items on ebay over the weekend, managed to list a few more and some more ending tomorrow with bids on

Morning, thank you everyone for your good wishes, lets hope they pay off
£13 withdrawn from paypal today for weekends ebay sales, another 2 items ready to be posted today. Few more items ending tonight and 3 with bids on so that all helps, getting 4/5 sales a week so is all positive
My NWG CC now stands at £3046 so £100 paid of since signature update. Am owed some money from sister she will prob give in cash so will use this and transfer budget from something across to card.
I have £456 in savings which pays for car insurance, tax, house insurance etc, not sure whether to put some of this to debt. My life insurance is due for renewal in Aug, be cancelling the joint policy and doing a single policy, have run some quotes and will be £100 a year cheaper at just over £200So possibly thinking put £250 to the CC as no insurance etc costs till next year and can start re-saving. Maybe see how it goes with the mortgage people and go from there.

Cries re mortgage well today anyway
. So they will only lend me up to £100K at the moment considering salary and debt. They take into account debt, salary and council tax for affordability. They wont let mum be co-mortagee due to her age. Only do up to age of 70, and she is 68. Current mortgage is £156K. Mum has savings of £30K so £26K short. I have debt of just under £6K so if I can get rid of this will really help. If I can take on extra work of cleaning my office then could possibly borrow up to £125 so even if they did £115K plus £30K from mum now only £10k short.
So plan of action is for more to get rid of the debt asap, am doing quite well with ebay etc so just need to up the game a bit. Mum is going to save as much as she can so we can possibly put more capital away. She can get a loan of £10k which is a possibility too. So not completely out of reach yet.
Was really depressed when came out of the meeting with the bank but that was just the first step of the ladder, and still a long way to go. So to find the extra £40K hey I love a challenge!
3 more sales on ebay last night about £10, a few bids on items ending tonight, more survey money due. Will get this. Puts on determined face :rotfl:Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!

Morning
Thanks buffy for dropping by, like you say darn banks, they wanted to give us all the money for CC's etc letting us getting into debt and now we are trying to be sensible they dont want to give it away:cool:
So plan of action is still in force and will get there somehow.
£6 withdrawn from paypal today from survey sites, sent ot CC, have withdrawn the £256 from savings as said above, £16 that had left in an ISA, £100 contribution from mum yesterday so my NW CC now stands at £2668
Another few ebay sales last night so a little bit more money to add into the pot. Didnt list anymore last night as went to see friend who has managed to break her foot, they have told her to rest and keep it up, she has a 4 year old on half term, not going to happen :rotfl:
Saturday will be doing some housework/gardening planting some veg then of to a 3 year birthday party in the afternoon. Sunday got hossie trainer in the morning then the rest of the day will be dedicated to ebay
Am determined to get rid of al the debt via ebay and survey payments if poss. Have a massive pile and went through one drawer yesterday and am going to go through every drawer and box and get down to a minimum and sell the rest. Hope to make some indent into the mortgage too.Debt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
