Morning, thanks for the book encouragement, I think ex has been dissuaded from buying it ;) So will put it on ebay on next free listing. Came home to 2 Blue Rays in the post from another competition win :D Will watch this and if no good then off to the bay of e :)

Notification of another £6 survey payment's waiting to hit paypal and £18 from quidco waiting to hit the bank, so more to send to the CC :D

Not sure on the weekends plans, really fingers and hooves crossed peeps like to go and see friend again but waiting to hear back. If not plenty to do need to get hossie feed, weed garden, tidy house, ebay, so many things will never get bored :)

The thing with your ex is that it's very easy for him to stay put - and they always seem to take the easy way out of things if they can.
I am unsure why he should be the one to leave as they both own the house and have a joint mortgage.
Indeed I think he would be foolish to move out while he is still named on the mortgage and deeds. He is as responsible as Baldybear for the mortgage whether he lives there or not.

Thanks Trudij that makes perfect sense, the whole 2 steps forward bit is just so true, I have no idea if ex is running up more debt, its not my problem anymore, I do feel that I have learnt lots of lessons and are moving forward, never fast enough though :D
As you are financially linked it could be your problem if he runs up more debt. It will effect you and any further credit you try to obtain.

    Morning :)

Lad thanks for the reply. Re your comment about ex leaving, he has 2 choices he either leaves and I try and take over the mortgage (I hold all the equity in the house bar some money which we have offered to give him) or he stays and tries to force the sale in which by the time we would account for fees he probably would get nothing.

I do agree with you about him running up extra debt. My plan is to take over the mortgage and separate everything financially. That is our only tied asset. We have joint a/c but only I have access to it at the moment, am going to try and change this over shortly to just my a/c.

I think the time has come to see a different financial advisor to see what other steps I can take as the current plan although working is not good for my mental state.

Thanks granny for dropping by :) My fingers and hooves crossing worked and went to see friend again at weekend. Did hossie sat am sorted out some washing got some fuel, had small voucher saved me £1.95 :) Then went to see friend.

Stayed overnight back last night, was such a lovely weekend, really spoilt and felt really happy, :D Off again next weekend, not good on fuel front as 110 mile round trip  but definitely worth it as dont spend anything there, bought a few bits of food to eat but bare minimum.

Came home did hossie which was good and then back to feeling like carp :( Ex hadnt done anything, had hung up washing including some of his on sat am, still there nothing touched, rubbish over the house, but he was poorly, had a headache and couldnt be bothered  Same old same old nothing ever changes. He isnt at work today as he is still ill, he has already taken of a lot of time of work already this year and believe he was on a warning, angry doesnt cover it. Made me feel very depressed last night but a few texts from a couple of friends helped cheer me up.

Really need to get this sorted as dont want to be living like this, really happy one minute and then just wanting to cry because angry and frustrated another :(

So week to myself before I can see friend again. Need to keep busy I have decided as then dont stew and think about things to much, my big downfall. There is so much I could do with the house, horse and improving my financial situation I just need to focus.

Of to sisters tonight to have a good catch up as she is struggling with some of her life at the moment so be good to have a heart to heart :)

Good things financially so this isnt all about moaning :rotfl: Min payment to CC of £70 and have had a payment from Quidco of £18 so takes my NWG to £2509 :D So pleased with the progress, slowly adding up. One item sold on ebay last night, couple ending tomorrow with bids on. Will try and get more listed on Tuesday. £15 of Love2Shop vouchers arrived in post on Saturday so will keep this to use for presents.

Do you have a Deed of Trust drawn up for this? Otherwise legally the equity in the house is joint.

Regardless, if you are both on the deeds you cannot force him to leave anymore than he can force you to leave.
I understand the relationship is over and you want to live apart and move on but it is still his home as much as yours.
As I said previously he would be very foolish IMO to leave when he is still on the mortgage/deeds.

If you want him to leave you would need to go to court not him.
He is perfectly entitled to stay in the house which is in his name.
