I'm feeling pretty good about actually getting things done! Need some ideas for eggy recipes, a friend has just dropped a dozen fresh laid round nom nom nom...

Have had a totally overexcited small boy all day with an ACTUAL digger in the garden, and everyone is behaving today for some reason.

    1/ laundry @ Claire's.
    2/ clean dining room
3/ car in for service and MOT (please please please please be OK...)
    4/ clean children's rooms.
    5/ put laundry away.
6/ bath for children! It's been a few days and they are all in need of one...
    7/ mend E's tights.

    Keeping it short for now...

Lolly, the rubbish feeling will pass soon, hopefully... I found my 3rd pregnancy the easiest of mine...

3yo back at nursery today:T, so I'll have more time to do things. Although OH is off today as he had a filling yesterday and it made him ill all last night.:o

    My list:
1)Get quotes for specialist house insurance
    2)Do washing
    3)Wipe down kitchen sides
    4)Load and unload the dishwasher
    5)Hoover

7)Sort out some books and toys to go to my mom's house
    8)Go food shopping
9)Buy cat grass seeds and planters

Hopefully my new changing bag will turn up this week at some point, I didn't realise that the delivery was 5-10 days when I ordered it.:o

lindsaygalaxy, I'm dreading it when I don't have OH to help me.

Lolly, make sure they check your iron levels as this can make you really tired, I was on 3 iron tablets a day.

Hello everyone, I thought I should post before we go away. Just a couple of nights on a sun holiday, even though its predicted to rain all weekend i'm quite excited to be having a break from the norm. Most of the weeks washing is now done, but still got a lot to get ready by tomorrow lunchtime! However, the house is now tidy and pretty clean.
    Need to -
    iron clothes (to take away)
Iron PJs for DD red nose day at school tomorrow
Ice cakes for RNS cake sale at DD school.
Iron work clothes for OH & me for next week (dont wanna do it monday when getting back
Order shoppping online for monday evening
Iron school and nursery clothes for kids.

Mysk_girl, I dread every years MOT, and havent had it serviced for nearly 3 years after the last one costing me nearly £500 (its only worth just over that now!)
    £2 Savers club £0/£150
    1p a day £/

enjoy your Holiday lindsaygalaxy where abouts are you off too?

Childminder is sunning herself somewhere lovely at the moment so I'm at home with the kids. Think I might take them to the play centre later on but at the moment it's chucking it down with rain so I might try and persuade them to have a messy painty day at home instead.

So far today I've emptied my penny pot and taken £130 for banking for our holiday with about £15 gone back in it. Can you believe I had 99p in 1ps and couldn't find another 1p ANYWHERE!!!!!!

Chicky, that's only a third of it. There's another 100' ish behind whwre I was stood taking the photo :-) its the main reason we bought the house.

    List for today.

1/ preschool Easter Fayre reminder letters
    2/ collect OH prescription
    3/ haircut for small boy
    4/ lunch with OH
    5/ make lasagne and bread
6/ take E and friend home from school, feed, take to dancing, collect, take back to mine, feed again and then wait for mum to collect friend. I did have a hissy fit about friends round while builders in but this one is lovely and it's a favour for mum as well as she has gone to Cheltenham races as a treat.
7/ order advertising flyers for preschool
8/ draw up list of roads to flyer
9/ commercial waste - increase collection to once a week
10/ MANDATE FORM THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT
11/ sort laundry for launderette run tomorrow evening. I don't mind trekking it round the village during the week, but I don't really want to disturb people's weekends...
12/ choose floor tiles for new kitchen
13/ choose stone for external walls, urgent as they need to order it.

Think that's about it! Pleased to report car is running quietly and more efficiently. Better had do after that bill!

Hope your enjoying your organised days :-)

    Hello everyone

I was expecting a load of posts to catch up on, but only a few!

We just went for a weekend to the cotswolds (sun holiday). The caravan was FREEZING but the kids had a good time. Spent way too much money on eating out though :/ Been really good recently though so was a bit naughty.

Need to get back on to being organised!

Hi, I have only just came across this thread, what a wonderful idea I am interested in joining in. My plans for this afternoon/evening is to get the dinner in the oven (sausage casserole), make a list of chores and decluttering with a view to getting certain things done every week and catch up with this thread

After reading some of the posts on this thread, I have also ordered one of the organised mum diaries. I am determined to get things organised so until the diary arrives I will make a note on paper.

I have 2 children aged 9yr and 1yr and I am also 19 weeks pregnant (unplanned). The pregnancy has meant big changes DH works full time (sometimes long hours) and I have decided to do some home study courses and go to evening classes to retrain so its going to be busy. Also need to do a massive declutter as there is no space for the baby at the moment.
