Mysk: You fill me with confidence! :) I will admit it does get easier every day and we are starting to settle into a bit of a routine now as we learn each others ways :) I can't wait until we can start playing together.

Great day today. Had lunch with friends and a great catch up. Highlight of the day was LOs smiles developing into proper grin while rolling around on the floor with his daddy :) pretty damn cute!

Nothing planned tomorrow so hoping to pop to my parents to borrow a sander to sand down some floating shelves I've bought. These then need to be painted to match the tree colour of LOs mural. Then sometime this week I'm hoping to paint the actual mural :D

And hey if I'm lucky OH might finish the cot (he's making it himself) so we can get that in. Very excited to get the nursery done :)

D'oh! Ds has been very unwell today so I couldn't do the tip run,or much else.Typically,I've been desperate for a bit of peace and time to myself, but alongside hating seeing my boy so poorly, with him being so sleepy and quiet I've been bored out of my skull!Ho hum lol

Goodness me - It's been too long!

This pg has knocked me for 6 - my appetite has disappeared everything makes me feel so sick!!

    Anyway -
I need to do about 3 tip runs, praying i can load the car before school run and then i can pop to tip after.
    I must cancel lovefilm!!

I have put shed loads of clothes away today - they were taking over my house.

That is all i am committing myself too, I'm too tired for anything else :) x

Dont cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

All proud of myself today. Did a load of washing, dried it, went shopping, went to baby group, tidied the front room, finally sorted the kitchen table and cooked a decent tea :)

Think we're finally getting into the swing of this motherhood thing :)

    Lolly, how far are you?

I need a tip run elf! They always get delayed!

I got rid of lovefilm after many trials ;) use blinkbox now when there's nothing on sky.Instant download and no subscription is always good...as long as ds doesn't discover I use his xbox to do it,boy would I be in trouble:o:D

Oh,I'm a very happy shegirl today!Been smiling like a loon all afternoon (and now rhyming like an idiot!)

    Anyway,that aside..

Ds was back in school today so managed to get the housework and top up shop done.

Had to get two light switches replaced after ds smashed them this morning :(

Decided to treat myself in the online New Look sale, because I deserve it and it's about time I spent on myself rather than just the house and ds (and used to waste tonnes on the ex!).So,will pick the order up on Monday when I nip in town to get new clothes for ever growing ds and replenish his Lush bubble bar collection!!!Saves on multiple delivery costs and saved £100 in the sale :D

Ds disability worker was meant to come this morning to start sorting their !!!! up in regard to my sons services.Surprisingly, she didn't show!!!!

Tomorrow I must phone Sky as my router is temperamental.

Will wash the bedding in the morning and check larder cupboard.

Think I may relax the housework this week as my cleaner starts next week:o:rotfl:

Thinking of booking myself a pampering session before the Easter hols as they will be draining lol May make more sense afterwards BUT I want it before.

Now I need to start thinking about ds birthday next month.Eek!

Tonight, once ds is asleep -whenever that may be,I shall treat myself to nachos, burritos,a long bath and the last book of the 50 shades of beige trilogy (parody at it's finest.I haven't read the grey books but the parodies are hilarious enough without needing full knowledge of what they're based on!)

Hi, can I join you on this thread please. I have just become a SAHM to my 3 year old and 1 year old, although I am looking for a small part time job. I really need to get on top of the house and our finances. Particularly if I am going to talk OH into having a third!!

Look forward to chatting and getting organised with you all.
