Hi,
Can I please join? I'm Mummy to a 14 month insomniac but very cheery little boy. He's a real little blessing. I'm also 9 weeks pregnant, trying to sell my house and looking to move into our new home on 24th May! Lots to do. I work 3 days a week. Looking forward to getting to know you all.0 -
well done organised mummys - we will beat our houses
hello happybird sounds like you have your hands full - i moved house at 3 months preg (only renting tho) and that was bad enough.
I'm packing packing packing for our holiday. tho have been feeling awful this week - think it's a migrane (tho i also have the tail end of a cold)..... nurofen migrane tablets take enough of an edge off for me to do stuff ....... until they wear out. so am gonna stock up on them and co-codimal to see me through.
have taken sudfed sinus tablets last 2 mornings and all they've done is make me sick
add onto that a husband who has a cold (but you'd never know.............much), and 2 children with colds and mummy stands no chance of getting a rest.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Hi All!!! Missed a couple of days, Tuesday did washing, sweeping, hoovering, dusting, kitchen, normal stuff, not much decluttering, had a 'lazy' day - though 4 kids and 3 trips in picking up dd1 doesn't really count as lazy!!
Yesterday was work day (2nd job) was only going in for couple of hours, and 5 hours later....
DD1 bought fishtank and 2 goldfish yesterday. Had set fishtank up couple of days before to settle before putting fish in. She put fish in and within an hour the water was so cloudy you couldn't see the fish!! So after working all day I had to completely clean tank, stones etc!!! Bought her new stones in the end and the tank is lovely still!!!
DH came home last night. Girls going to fair today each with their own friends about 3pm. I thought lovely, spend some time with him - OH NO!!!!!!! He's just gone out with his mate for a 'couple' of pints!!!!!! So angry!! When he comes home I'm going out too, aaaarrrrrggggghhhhhhh!!!
Anyway, sorry about the moan, needed to get it off my chest!
Today have done:
Under my bed, surprising most of it is dh's so put it back for him to sort!
Finished sorting the tops of wardrobes - vaccuuming the bags to get air out!
Hoovered upstairs
cooked lunch (have dd2's friend again as her sister is in labour and mum & dad with her)
washed up
Had much needed hair cut, looks much better now.
To do:
sort sideboard
Bookcase drawer
Type minutes from 2 meetings
sort more sleepovers for dd2 (so wish I had a social life!!)
Have a good day all and sorry for the moan! TaffyNeed to sort my life out! :T0 -

So DS at childminders so I can mark year 11 assessments- so far not started, feel tired and headachey. Have put washing out on line and done a load of dishes but apart from that Nothing! Finishing my cup of tea then going to give myself a kick up the backside.2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

Hi fluffysox,
Even more than you thought - if you're a teacher too! DS having a nap so I'm sitting down to 'declutter' an Easter eggWashing on and about to make 2 phone calls. Today I discovered DS can climb stairs! I was hoovering them & looked down to find him on stair 3! He's a roller so we thought we were safe. Oh well! Even less rest now!

Uh oh time to close the stairgates Happybird. Yes I am also a teacher so getting stuff done while I can- can barely keep up in term time. Still that is one reason to get more organised. The less clutter, the easier it is to stay tidy and clean. DS is two first weekend of the May half term and we will be having a bbq party for family and friends. It would be nice to have him in his new room by then. Also same week is 20 week scan so I can start getting baby stuff out too
Marking is behind schedule- taking ages! So more time will need to be spent on that this weekend.
However a productive day on the house front. Garden raked/ patio swept. Some weeding done and lawn mown by DH after some encouragement/ whip cracking lol. Car boot is full of bags for charity shop and wheelie bins have been well fed too!
Also ordered new electric shower to be delivered tomorrow as ours is playing up so that should be fixed soon.
My house will not defeat me ! ! !2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

4 bin bags to charity shop today- filled yesterday. All but one of my ebay items have bids on and they don't end til tomorrow- three items are bulky furniture so will make space. DH has sanded down and revarnished one of our interior doors, there are two more that need this so he says he'll do that next week. DS is staying at grandparents tonight. The function we'd planned to attend was cancelled so we decided to have a meal out. Then after dropping DS off we got home and realised we were tired. So a first in all the years we've been a couple- we ordered a pizza delivery and ate it while watching a film on pay-per-view. :rotfl: Rock-and roll!2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013

All my ebay listings have sold. That's £80 towards a new computer desk for DH
Was given a gift today which I know the giver sees as special but to me its clutter so that will go on ebay next week. They love antique shops and tbh honest their taste just isn't mine. Feel guilty but got to be ruthless with this decluttering. Desperate to get house on the market and move away from my neighbours. They are never quiet!
Didn't get very far with the marking but have a sample done for moderation tomorrow.
So I know I won't be as motivated or productive on house front as back at work tomorrow but I will be coming on here to read all your updates and hopefully I can keep chipping away and get this house in order2016 MFW OPd £2000, 2015 MFW OPd 3000 then bought new bigger house with bigger mortgage.Beautiful boys born May 2011 and October 2013
