Productive Day so far. (first one in a while as been too busy or tired from work) We've tidied all the toys which had spread across my living room- I'm sure they reproduce when I'm not looking. Hoovered whole house and dusted lots of it. Lawns mown front and back. Some weeding done. Trellis fixed- finally! Fence looks so much better-- well done DH! Washing done and dried on the line. DH and DS sent to Aldi for a few bits so I'm relaxing for a minute before putting washing away.
Still to do this weekend: List a few bits on ebay. Free listing weekends seem to be fortnightly now- they might as well have them every week.
Fill a bag for Charity collection on Monday
Compare Breakdown cover for DH's car.

eeek it's the weekend again already (not that i am complaining but i actually get more 'me time' when I am at work.)

Have listed (read re-listed but with tweaks and including postage costs) 34 items. I refse to pay to list when (and yes I've noticed it too fluffysox it's free listing alternate weekends. I agree it may as well just be every weekend, or if they want to have a charge weekend every other one then do multiple pics free or something.

I've just discovered collect+ last weekend it's FANTASTIC beats royal mail hands down for parcels. Love the fact you can use it as a postage option on ebay, get your address etc imported when listings end and pay the postage charge with paypal then just drop off when you can.

could do with a few more local shops to me/ work (nearest is a 45min round trip on foot with the kids)

Right I must tidy the house my kids have TRASHED it. Then lamb casserole bubbling away in the slow cooker. I added frozen dumplings, sweetcorn and peas to it at 4pm so hoping it'll be done for the kids tea in half hour or so.

    oh yes please :D
the only thing with it is checking your parcel fits the max size (40x30x30 i think) but thats pretty large.
I've listed all but 1 item with those charges - cheaper then RM and like you say 3 charges for 3 weights makes listing far quicker.

Tbh we've had a lazy day today. Don't regret it as I was full of cold yesterday and feeling much better now. However have managed to list items on ebay which was my main goal. Need to get sorted for work now so charity bag won't be filled by tomorrow's collection but I will put a couple of bits in there. Dreading tomorrow- there was a big fall out between two of my colleagues Friday and the atmosphere will be dreadful. I'm just going to try and keep out of it but frankly want to tell both of them to grow up.

eeek hate it when working atmosphere is bad, good luck.

i sold some ebay bits today (someone asked for a BIN on 3 items) so :j:j made about £11 after fees and postage (which i mistakenly undercharged by £2)

made some golden syrup buns but am sooo full after dinner i want one but know i shouldn't :(

deep cleaned the 2 food cupboards in the kitchen, listed a few other ebay bits, deep cleaned the bathroom, changed the kids bed linin and tidied both boys rooms so don't feel too bad.

Wow what a gorgeous day its been! Hello May and welcome back sunshine!
My day off is Wednesday so two loads of washing done. Morning at the park with my very excited toddler. lots of exercise and vitamin D for us both :) Most of urgent marking done while he had a nap. (bit more still to do before bed tho) Work should be getting easier from now on- touch wood! Then my attention will return to the home.

sounds like you had a good day fluffy. It's been lovely and sunny here all week.... while I've been stuck in an office with the air conditioning on so high we were just short of putting out coats on.

Today we've woken up to...............rain. Oh fab!! must be a bank holiday.

but have packed a nicpic and we are off to Leeds Armories on the train for their superhero weekend.
    A superscrimper day out:
picnic - curtosy of a £15 tesco giftcard for complaining about paying postage on a card when it said free postage in the T&C's. (just got to buy me a drink and get some nice rolls)
    - free train tickets - curtosy of the telegraph/ red spotted hanky £10 e-voucher promotion.
    - entry to armouries - free.

Wow chickywiggle that's quite an achievement. Well done! I've had quite a busy day so not got much done around the home. Midwife this morning then shopping for a few clothes and also birthday gift for my mum. Also bought a bird feeder. My little boy loved helping daddy assemble and fill the feeders with seeds, nuts and water etc. Then every time a bird landed within sight he'd shout "Birdie dinner eat!"
