They are quite good for storing smallish things in big cupboards (ie under the stairs!) Or have a brutal clear out and make it a mission to fill each one with unwanted clothes/shoes and take them to a charity shop
I cleared out the littlies bedroom on Sunday and shipped out 2 bags... Good to know only clothes that fit them are in the drawers and it looks nice in there nowMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

I'm thinking a craft box for DS's paints, etc. Also separate my cleaning products up under the sink - cupboard is overflowing & I have no idea what's in it! Not sure what else to do. Might look at my toiletries/cosmetics stash. Might wrap them in nice paper too so they can be out in show as no storage! When it's dark, look for stars. When it's raining look for rainbows.
DFW - Tesco CC: [STRIKE]£3149.71[/STRIKE]£0! Capital One CC:[STRIKE] £2242.01[/STRIKE]£0! :T Overdraft: [STRIKE]£283[/STRIKE] £0! :T0 -
You already have good ideas!
Well I've been at home since 10 (unusual for me) and have blitzed the living room which was in dire need of being done.
After the hideous day yesterday DD4 (2) was up most of the night with a temperature and hacking cough and she's still poorly today but thankfully now in bed! I'd love to know why these things happen all at once
On the plus side, I'm pretty sure I've lost some weight... But the electronic. Bit out of the scales disappeared *sigh*
Must find that tomorrow. Or get some more scales!!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Hi optimistic-mummy - it's very much like flyladyas you will see from my lists :rotfl:
I don't like the day-by-day approach of flylady - it doesn't work for me. I need the list up front to work from - before this thread I looked at the previous weeks flylady on a saturday am and then based my weekly on that.
I now have a set list of not so much Must do's as priority do's. I don't always strip all the beds every week, and I can't remember the last time I hoovered the bedrooms/ landing - I really MUST do that this week.
you've jinxed it now :rotfl: we shall be expecting happy news in the next fortnight
Princess_nola - we flatpack the nappy boxes until we need them. They are great for sorting rooms "keep" "put somewhere else" "bin" "sell/ freecycle".
I also currently have 5 in a cupboard full of books in that have been gathered from freecycle/ my mums attic/ carboots etc of books for when my boys are older - at 4 and almost 2 they have no need for famous 5, enid blytons tales, encyclopiedias etc but when you find them for 20p or on freecycle you can't let them stay there can you.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. Afternoon All!
Last 2 ish weeks have been a rollercoaster ride. I had pretty much convinced myself i was suffering from depression, feeling low, no motivation etc. And had resigned to being unorganised!
Turns out i am 5 ish weeks pregnant!! Hence the bloody hormones, making me feel so down. I need to be back on this bandwagon - 3 children!:eek::eek:
I need to research car seats - and how/if i can get 3 in my current car
Sort out debts! - ASAP - These need to be gone before bubs arrives!
Clear out house!
Get single divan base and sort out boys in master bedroom!
New tyres for car - at least 2 - has to be done on Friday.
I need an organised mum diary even if it's £15 i have to have one.
These are the bigger picture things - todays will be just tidy up and get the big boy from school, i am totally exhausted already!
Hope you are all well, and organisedDFW Nerd #awaiting number - Proud to be dealing with my debts!

Congrats Lolly fantastic news!!!!! I've been feeling the same as you lately and have had lots of blood tests. Just hope that I'm not pregnant as would not be impressed!!!!!!
Listmania - where is this thing you have been working on, I'm intrigued!!!
Well, what a wash out I am!!!! Really not been going well at all. So I decided to set myself 3 or 4 things to do each night after work and so far this week it is working well.
Mon - Cook tea, empty dishwasher, S&S kitchen, make pack lunches. Also sit with dd1 doing homework. Poor thing was off poorly week before last for the week and then last week got so much homework, was silly!!!!
Monday's homework we half did (mostly her) English project on poetry. She had to explain about certain poems I'd never even heard of!!!! She's only year 7!!
Tues - Cook tea dd2 and friend, empty dishwasher, make packed lunches, sort washing, S&S kitchen, start minutes from meeting. Finish english homework. DD1 also did drama, maths and IT homework!!
Today - Cook tea, empty dishwasher, make packed lunches, put washing machine on, finish minutes, S&S Kitchen.
I have included cook tea as I got to the point when DH goes offshore every other night we were having takeaway!!!! Happy with myself since Sat on that score. Tues me and dd1 did have chinese as she got star of the week at school and was so pleased with herself she asked if she could as a treat, bit partial to chinese!!!!!
Each night I am S&S kitchen and it is staying tidy so very happy with that. Need to add to nightlly jobs sorting washing from tomorrow and do every night. Do this for 4 or 5 nights and then hopefully this will be something I can do each night when sorting tea perhaps.
Anyway, enough of my waffling, hope you have all had a productive day.
Update again soon. Taffy xxxNeed to sort my life out! :T0 -

Hey all,
Stew and dumplings in the SC again! Become a favourite in our house!
funds will be tight with this bambino so i have been watching things on ebay - would you pick up bargains yet? I mean theres a crib ending tonight at the moment its no bids and £5! I wouldnt bid more than £10 for it - i would if i was later on in pg though. Im about 5 weeks?
DS1 has football tonight - im really dreading standing for an hour in the freezing cold
Ive done the washing and pegged out - and it rained on the school run! A quick tidy up and swilled the bath is all i've managed today. I will get uniforms ready in a bit and be prepared for the school run in the morning.
Hope you are all having a productive day xDFW Nerd #awaiting number - Proud to be dealing with my debts!
