This thread is getting a lot less busy, is January motivation waning?
Wed am means two clear days to get stuff done while LO is at nursery. How does anyone do anything having a toddler with them full time? I just hope I can take a chunk out of my list before my cold gets the better of me. Toast is really hurting my throat this morning.
So here goes:
1. Fold and put yesterday's wash away, take out and hang white wash and put on coloured one
2. Hoover stairs
3. Tidy kitchen, empty dishwasher, wash floor
4. Clean bathrooms
5. Get quotes for getting windows fixed
6. Do shopping list
7. Sort out arrangements for Saturday (my first ever mum's day off)
8. Iron shirts for OH
9. Sort out holiday dates so OH can book them in at work
10. Return direct debit form to nursery
11. Chase nursery for LO's photos
11. Shop online for kids birthday gifts x 2
12.Do grocery shop (I imagine this will drop off the bottom today)We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
Well stuck indoors today as waiting for a delivery so have decided to have a blitz as it seems to have got pretty messy last couple of days, am going to list a few more things to sell as well.
So list for rest of this week looks like...
1/Post Cheque.
2/Email Estsate Agents
3/List Things to Sell on FB
4/Order a New Iron
5/Ironing
6/Get rid of charity bags (Yes this has been on my list for last 3 weeks:p)
7/Finish Sorting Photo's and order some prints
8/Take Kids for feet measuring/new shoes
9/Take Kids for haircuts
That will keep me busy for now as well as getting back on top of housework...:)
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Well today gone to pot. Had planned to spend an hour in preschool doing paperwork only to get a call from school asking me to collect a poorly 5yo. So all my plans gone out the window. Hey ho, tomorrow is another day!0

hi ladies, hope you're all well! Yesterday I had a mega day:
* hoovered and steam mopped whole of ground floor
*tidied and hoovered all bedrooms
*paid nursery
*paid bills
*booked optician appts
*cancelled dental appt for me only (no money)
* booked blood donor session
Today after being up sonce 3:30am with screaming DD I've been totally down in the doldrums, then i cracked a tooth and bits fell out HUH?!! and after cancelling my appt yesterday - does my Dentist have a voodoo tooth doll?
So not a happy bunny tonight and after trying to book food delivery (no slots for 3 days what is that all about?!) i've done February's budget and am now desperately trying not to go to bed even more blooming depressed than i was this morning. right, apologies for being maudlin, I'll go read some good posts of yours to cheer me up
xx:hello:

I did my tax return! Woohoo! One day before the deadline, and apparently I owe £0.70 in tax. Can't work out how, but I'm not arguing about £0.70... And I've paid it, so all done for another year. Maybe next year I'll do it as soon as I get my P60 and interest statements... Porcine aviators ahoy, anyone?
And I did some paperwork for preschool, which badly needed doing, paid some bills etc.
I also made an executive decision to abandon a whole load of crafty work-in-progress projects. They sit there, makin me feel guilty and I will never, ever get them all done. So now they are actually in the bin and I feel so much better! The last 12 months I've got much better about seeing project through to the end, these are really old ones, I am glad to let them go. And get on with my current one, also nearly finished.
Tomorrow I am taking the baby to do footprints at the pottery painting place, and hopefully have an afternoon running round the park with small boy. That is, if big girl goes to school... We'll see...
