  • YAY super impressed at how much I have crossed off my list this weekend. especially as today was spent:
    - leaving the house at 8.45,
    - dropping DS1 off at school.
    - Shopping/ lunch at meadowhell with DS2,
    - running home to drop shopping off.
    - picking DS1 up.
    - 45m playing PS3 with DS1.
    - making tea for boys/ washing up.
    - bathing kids while tidying.
    - another load of washing up with my tea cooked
    - cleaning the permanent marker off the front room carpet that DS2 decided to apply while drawing earlier without me seeing
    - and NOW I am gonna crash in bed with stitching and Glee.

Top tip of the day: if your toddler draws on your carpet in marker pen it can be 'easily' removed with a few drops of vodka.............the rest of the bottle should be drunk while cleaning and afterwards.

    Hey all,

Thank you for the congratulations - im still shocked!

I sent off forms for hubbys ppi this morning, sorted out some debt repayments and trying to get back on track with finances so hopefully some will be clear before bubs arrives!

Lots of washing done, and dried ironed and put away! Feeling guilty as the boys have played on the xbox far too much! - Must get out tommorow, thursday and friday! - I normally love half term but feeling so lazy at the moment. Weather is dry but extremely cold :(

Need to do food shopping may just do it online, i cannot face asda with boy boys - worst nightmare!

Hope you are all well x

  • Think this is the thread for me :) I really want to be a super organised perfect mum and housewife but procrastination seems to get in the way! I'm a mum of an almost 20 month old little boy and 24 weeks pregnant with a little girl :) live with fianc! who works full time. I work part time and also have a part time business :)

Looking forward to get to know you all :)

Ohhh and i have sorted car insurance - swiftcover being total B's! And wouldn't send my proof of ncb! But Halifax rang them to confirm.

I've also dug out all birth certs, passports, CRB's driving license and marriage cert - so they all live in 1 file! If we need to make an emergency dash anywhere it is all together

I also found insurance document for my phone which i broke, i didn't even know it was insured but i have asked for a claim form to be sent out

And i came across my MOT certificate, doesn't expire until May!!! Thought it was up next week! Happy days.....

I trust you are all busy being busy rather than on MSE wasting time!

Feeling motivated today, so here goes with my list:

    1. Bake red velvet cupcakes and decorate for Valentines tea
    2. Find recipe and buy ingredients for nice romantic dinner - which reminds me must put bubbly in fridge to chill
    3. Get out ladders and sort out the curtain that is falling down in LO's bedroom
    4. Chase up roofers
    5. Research & book hotel for 28th March
    6. Return library books
    7. Take photos for ebay items (hopefully it will be free listing this w/e?)
    8. Email cat sitter re Easter

ohhh make-it-3 where are you off too at the end of March **nosy nosy**
I don't think it's a free listing weekend as it was last weekend. Have you tried preloved?

Thought I'd take the kids on a short train ride on Monday.......... only to discover my railcard and 'bite' card have vanished. Not sure when I last saw them but DS2's favourite game is "lets empty mummy's purse" so they are probably half way under a freezer. MUST find these before April holiday or need to buy a replacement card - GRRR.

    This Weeks Hit List.

    This week one offs
    1) go thro paperwork and write down when everything is due for renewal. (already put this off *cough* weeks)
1b) Had a letter from E-on to say my fixed tarrif ends April and the prices they will put my gas/ elec up to so on a mission to get it cheaper.
    2) deep clean the kitchen cupboards/ get rid of all the tupperwear boxes with no lids (any creative ideas?) and all those lids with no bottoms.
    3) Take kids on a trip to Morrisons for a little shop (as I don't *think* I need enough to make a tesco delivery worthwile).
    4) follow up travelodge complaint if no response by Monday.
    5) date and put in album all printed off baby photos.
    6) letter to origin publishing head office.
    7) make a lasagne
    8) must meal plan for a healthy WW week to get rid of what i assume will be a huge gain this week.

  • Very pleased with myself as i am keeping up with the washing!
Both baskets are empty at the end of every day:T

    Plan for the week:

Clean the garden and water all the plants.
Tidy up and organise the little 'uns bedroom as it is a tip and they find it impossible to keep clean.
    Sort out paperwork.

This is all subject to getting any sleep, seeing as dd3 has a cold and keeps me up at night.
Then both her and dd2 get up at silly o'clock even though they never get up early term time:mad:
    SIMPLY BE-££577.11:eek:
    Very BNPL - £353.00:o

Morning all :) been quite busy this morning just stopped for some dinner

    I've

    Got a wash in
    Tidied all the toys away
    Dusted living room
    Washed up
    Loaded dishwasher
Wiped round the kitchen including cupboard fronts and handles
    Dusted my bedroom
Reduced ironing pile by about half :)

    Not a bad start

OH finishes work at 12 need him to look at the Hoover it's making funny noises and not picking up great, once he's sorted that I can Hoover and mop downstairs, think that's more than enough for today, if Im in the mood later might tidy out a few drawers on the sideboard they're full of paperwork and junk

    Take care everyone x
