Good Luck with the No Smoking DJstar! Thats something i really need to do!!!

Not a very productive few days here, although i did get some lovely new dining chairs in the charity shop for £20! We were desperate and have had a particular style in my mind for a long time - There home now and old ones need to go to tip asap!

Been to the post office this morning (yeah that's the last of the unwanted Xmas pressies returned).

Done a bit of cleaning but managed to break OH's mug with all his shaving bits in when doing the bathroom. Next minute I hear a crash downstairs and came down to find the Christmas lights had fallen and broken a vase in the process too. I took that as my cue to take them down completely leave it any longer and they'll start to need dusting!

Taking a break for lunch and then I really should wash the kitchen floor even if it is with my manky old mop, the floor hasn't seen sight of it since before Christmas.

Had some good news today! - I applied to do a course that would progress my career but i would have had to pay for myself. My boss has just messaged me to say she has secured funding for me to do it! :) So chuffed!

So happy that I've just sorted the boys wardrobes!:eek::eek:

3 black bags full ready for the charity shop - Hopefully if we don't get snow overnight that will go tommorow! We're forcast 18 hrs of the bloody stuff tonight, my boys are supposed to be going to Nanny's who lives 50 miles away for the weekend (I'm in work all weekend) if the snow comes it will be emergency childcare probably from my Mum, Dad and brother! School have text to say that they will let us know of the opening arrangements by 7.30. Would be lovely to play with the boys and build snowmen though!

My beds stripped and in WM! Looking forward to getting in it tonight! Been roped into doing nights on Monday so will be hanging tired on Tuesday

    Right,done so far today:

Fitted bathroom unit and safety mirror

Laid the new underlay in the living room

Made lots of cups of tea:o

Phoned the CSA who apparently don't mention the new assessment isn't the actual one until the actual one has been done (at least a month and no change to payment in the meantime)- if I didn't hate him I'd find that quite mean! Also notified them of something!

    Top up shop done.

    To do later:

    Hoover upstairs

    Clean windows

Fit carpet when ds in bed

    Make more cups of tea:o

Must remember to pay water bill tomorrow:o
