MORNING EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tried catching up on thread but just haven't got the time!!!!
Well DH home from offshore Friday and doing my head in already!!
Yesterday up, dd2 swimming, hoovered, swept, ironned, took dd2 to friends and it was only 12.30!!!!! My lovely friend came round at 1 who I haven't seen for ages. She left about 3 and as dh had not shifted from sofa all day decided that 2 can play that game!!!! Only thing I did after was washing in machine, cooked tea and picked up dd1. Do I regret it now!!!!
Today so far:
Up
walked dog
dinner prepared (for his mum!)
Finished ironning
food shopping
now at my second job (only do 2ish hours on a sunday)
Still to do:
collect dd2 from dance
put shopping away
cook dinner
colour mum's hair
help dd1 with sewing homework!!
papers in kitchen to sort
walk dog x 2
packed lunches
bags for tomorrow
make soup
minutes to type
I MUST sort monies
That's enough for today I think. Might change my job and go work offshore when he comes home, then I can sit and do nothing for the other 2 weeks!!!!!!!
Hope you all have a good day. TaffyNeed to sort my life out! :T0 -
Question to help with my sorting what do you do with all your childs artwrok/priject stuff? My boy is 2.5 and goes to various preschool classes art ones mainly I can no longer get away with leaving the item behind as now he wants to bring it home and show daddy! but some playgroups sometimes do craft days too, ontop of what i do at home with him. I was taking photos and intend to put together in a scrapbook, that seems to work on stuff with me, but from other places he likes to keep or shred and keep the bits he pulled apart!
would a pinboard just for his stuff work??
How do you store yours????I need to start saving so I plan to save £2 a week to start with:beer:0 -

Hi there
hope you don't mind me joining?
Can I ask how do you all balance work/home/children?
I'm back at work following second baby and finding it really hard to adjust. I've been back since november but it doesnt seem to be getting easier.MFW.....Apr 33 Aim - Dec 260 -
Ok, I put the babe to bed and have put the last hour making my daily spreadsheets, I think I've almost got it licked! Can't do anything now the baby is awake though as he thinks the laptop is for him!
Have to work on my assignment tonight so I need to print off my spreadsheets at some point before then! I want my routine to start tomorrow!
Other than that I've done bu££er all today!0 -
Well, I have to confess that I have done very little this week. Tuesday and Wednesday were spent in hospital with my younger son, Thursday I took him to the GP as we were still no further forward, and he has referred my lad to Alder Hey. Overnight on Thursday, older son developed a sky high temperature and was up most of the night, vomiting. Friday saw us all shattered and older son even slept most of the afternoon.
When the lads saw their dad yesterday, I went back to sleep, and I did the same today when they were with nan and grandad. I've got a splitting headache, but at least the essentials are done. Hopefully both boys will be back in school tomorrow, although younger one isn't to do PE this week. He can spend the time catching up on is schoolwork instead
The washing is done, dryer is on, dishwasher emptied and refilled. Toilet has been bleached, uniform is ready for morning, and lounge is ok - far from perfect, but acceptable for the moment. Boys are both showered and I'm jumping under in a minute. I'm hoping that the heat will help with my headache.
So, next week........hopefully an improvement on last week! It's really bugging me that I've got nowhere this week0 -

I usually have my daughters artwork in a bundle on top of our fridge and clear this out regularly keeping good ones. It does get worse as my dd brings home several drawinvs from school if they have to stay in due to weather. We usualy have 3 or 4 drawings on the fridge held up with magnets and easy to change.MFIT T2 Challenge - No 46
