fantastic list chicky, I've had to mess with mine somewhat as baby isn't overly chuffed at sitting in his high chair for more than the time it actually takes him to eat his breakfast, so washing the floor is a bit problematic, as is hoovering or cleaning the bathroom!!! Eeeek I'll get there though.

know that feeling well. DS1 gets settled with TV/ PS3 or something and DS2 goes for a nap/ calm down in his room for an hour for those 3. tis definatly hard work

its crazy, but I cant believe how well we're all doing. We have all seemd to find some motivation from somewhere which is great! My house has been tidy for nearly a whole week, and the washing hasn't escalated out of control either it's amazing, not to mention hard work and tiring, but still, I'm pleased things are getting done.
  • House definitely staying more organised and tidy. Now just need the washing to catch up !!
Office to be tidied next week.....I may be gone some time!

Chicky, that is an AWESOME list! Mine for today is

    1/ swimming at 10am
2/ buy birthday present for 5yo boy & 4yo boy
3/ party 2-4pm, fancy dress (girl attendee - hopefully one of the princess dresses we already have will suffice)
    4/ change beds
    5/ wash towels
    6/ finish cleaning fridge
7/ sewing - cushion, jeans and crochet bunting
8/ contact nationwide so I can finish tax return.

10/ locate running gear for Tuesday's great beginning at the couch 2 5k. If anyone has an iPhone, I can recommend the Get Running app, got me from nothing to 5k in 9 weeks last time, hopefully this time as well :-) I'd love to do the local 10k in march, but possibly slightly optimistic...

    Onwards and inwards...

arggg my hubby makes me mad.

on my days off (theses 3) i do all the housework + washing up from fri (normally max 4 plates, 4 cups + cutlery), sat, sun and mon.

his days off (tues-thurs) he is expected to keep house tidy, do those days washing up and do the 'man' jobs - hang pics/ move heavy things/ build heavy things etc.

yet EVERY other weekend there is a mountain of it left.
occasionally i leave a couple of bits - last week i left the mixing bowl soaking..........................it is STILL sat there!!!
i'm not doing it he can finish it tonight - he promised he'd do it last night!!!!!!!!

it's too cold to tackle my job list!!!!!!!!!!!!!! me and kids all snuggled on sofa watching lazytown ........... under blankets. I hate puting the heating on cause i always forget to turn it off lol.

oh and the carrycot didn't sell!!!!
back to listing it free on my local site this weekend I think :mad:

It's amazing - I've never been this motivated for this long, and my head is definitely calmer with a tidy house - not that it is ever completely tidy with 3 children, but there is a nice feel to it now. I have suffered with anxiety in the past, and a tidy house definitely helps me deal better and with a new baby around I need all the help I can get. OH really appreciates it as well as he works very hard and likes coming home to a clean house and a meal. I know that sounds stereotypical, but right now it is working for us. We'll see about what happens when I return to work in September...

I can't find my armband for running that I carry my phone in, but my new running trousers seem to have a zip pocket at the back that I could use - we'll see if it works on Tuesday. I've found running bra (hope it fits!), hi-vis top, thermal layer, trainers, knee brace and posh socks that I got as a freebie when I bought the hi-vis! We're ready to go...
