Have also caught up n my surveys that were sitting in my inbox (I can't always access them n the iPad which is a pain) need to get FIL a birthday card for his birthday tomorrow. Have finally got round to cutting out The Sun coupons for the holiday deal. Bolognaise is cooking away for tea tonight and second load of washing n the machine. All Niall not too bad a morning lol :A

I soo hope we get the snow :) Ds has been going on about snow since the beginning of December and I'd quite like some peace!

Some people use normal foil. Not sure how much difference any of it will make in the short term though.Radiator shelves are good too,for directing the heat.Annoyingly,my two living room radiators are under the windows, the soundproofing I had installed was done with insulation though so should be good :)

I manage to do the coats of paint in the kitchen and bathroom at stupid o clock, today I'm shattered!

Need to hire someone to fit the blind in the landing window now. It's half on the landing and half of the stairs, you can't reach the top so the only way to fit a blind or other,as far as I can see,is to do what a decorator would do - long ladder propped up on that bitwe all have above the stairs, plank of wood across and stand on it lol. Given how high the walls and ceiling are up the stairs too I may have to succumb to a decorator anyway :(

Just catching up on everything ive missed! Will be writing again when ive read through all the posts i've missed. Work kinda takes over my life so I look forward to my days off, though in doing supply tomorrow :/ Aiming to earn an extra £2013 this year (and more hopefully) towards our house deposit. This morning I have contacted the council band valuation office as I think we are in a band that is too high. I have tried before but they fobbed me off, so trying again. I am also comping.

Thinkgs are getting really stressful here. My ex is taking me to court as he wants 50/50 contact with the kids. to say we dont get on is an understatement and he is a bully. Just waiting for the court dates now for the final hearing. I'm representing myself :/ In the last few weeks things have esculated and every day I get several rants over text from him, usualy abusive and threatening. Today its his promise of how my 'games' wont win and how he will get what he wants in court as the kids are better off with him and his partner. I try not to reply as I have nothing to say to him. Its just unfair on the kids and he keeps putting them in difficult positions by making them choose when at his. The current arguement is he doesnt want our son to go to the same school as his sister (primary) even though he has no valid reason why not!

Ok, so for todays list -
    Dishawasher on and away
    3 loads of washing
    Change bedding
    Clean and tidy bathrooms
Call Sky and get broadband sorted
Call car insurance and email photos
Decide what to do with rabbit (passed away yesterday and havent told kids yet :(

Good luck hun,it will be stressful but idiots for fathers generally don't get very far (unless they're running away that is,then they do amazingly well:mad:)

Have heard this cold spell is coming! I doubt we'll get snow as we rarely do but guess its best to be prepared for ice :)

Who's betting we do get snow and then I go into labour? Lol :)

  • I'd like to join! I'm a fairly new mum (well, DS is 17months) but I am determined to be organised & get my house & finances in order!! I can vouch for the Life Diary from Organised Mum website - fabulous & so easy to use. Fits on my bag, so I put everything in it!

  • Amazingly an non productive day organising wise but have managed to find a calendar for my monthly meal £5 at asda but the nice lady took to customer services and got them to knock it to half price :) took back my slippers from xmas that have a massive hole and got new cheaper ones so the calendar only cost me 50p.
Picked up my free photos from jessops - 40 free woohoo almost sorted all my photos out.
took some old mobiles into a shop but sadly they only bought one still £14.

need to re write my list I think to see what i have to do for the rest of the month :)
I need to start saving so I plan to save £2 a week to start with:beer:
