Hmm. I thought I'd done well today, but there is still a lot on that list! I did manage to fill in the forms to claim Child Benefit for number 3 though, so that's something done that wasn't on the form. Tomorrow should be productive, as eldest DD is at Granny's for a couple of nights to be spoilt :-)
Let's see if I can knock off another couple of items after tea...0 -
Someone on the flylady thread has the mantra 'don't put it down, put it away'......it's brilliant, and I can't remember who it was or I would give them the credit due!!!0

* take washing out of dryer (runs overnight) and see if folding / hanging straight away will mean I don't have to iron (we never used to iron but since using the dryer they are very screwed.
Well done on getting your jobs done...but felt I had to comment about this. My friend used to do this - put the drier on, then go to bed. By chance, she forgot one night & put it on in the day before going out. She returned home to find her house on fire & fire engines there!!! If it would have happened at night.....they would have all died! Please don't leave a TD on at night or when you're not in.....it's just not worth it. She lost everything......:(20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100

tomorrow is job day. The last of my 'holiday' tho technically am off until Tuesday.
Normally have tesco shopping delivered on a Saturday (and spend £40 a shop) but Tesco have just emailed me 3 x 200pt on spends over £50 so have decided to try and do 3 x 2 weekly shops with a trip out for bread and milk if required.
Am also getting it delivered tomorrow as it means I can make a spag bol for Friday and Saturday teas. :money:
was going to put my flylady bits on the app but will be getting a new phone next week (free upgrade) so no point just yet. was hoping it would come already loaded up.
got DS1's room to sort out and part with some books:(:( I LOVE their books but they have farr to many that they never read.
tho breaks my heart to sell them for pennies.
will meal plan etc tomorrow as well.
kitchen floor to clean.
oh and finance spreadsheet to update/ money to transfer if required.
ISME delivery due between 7-9. dash out to door as soon as it gets here to take kids to childminders. straight back to recieve the tesco order 11-1.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Ahhh completely unproductive day!!!
But I did get a good catch up with my mummy, lol.
Busy day tomorrow. Midwife, catching up with an old friend and helping brother decorate0 -
Hi everyone, not a very productive day in some ways I'm afraid. My mum's friend (in her late 70s) needed to see the doctor, but there were no appointments at her usual surgery. As it was quite important, she was asked to attend a different surgery, but it is two bus rides away and she isn't very mobile. She was going to get a taxi, but I rang her and offered to take her instead. It's only 10 minutes in the car. After that, I took her to the chemist and to Tesco, where she bought me some chrysanthemums as a thank you - they smell heavenly.
I've been feeling absolutely shattered recently, so I had a couple of hours doze this afternoon. Younger son looked after older son downstairs. They're both good lads most of the time. Afterwards, I popped round to my mum's for a coffee and to collect the meat delivery.
Usual jobs have been done - toilet cleaned, washer and dryer on, etc.
Younger son tidied some of the kitchen as well as emptying and refilling the dishwasher. He also helped me to cook tea. Both helped to put away meat delivery (we divided burgers and sausages into individual food bags for freezing).
I'd love to say I have decluttered another area, but I haven't
Tomorrow, I think I will have to pop into town with the lads as I need to get passport size photos of older son - two for his blue badge, which runs out in a couple of months, and one for his CEA card (cinema card that allows carer in for free). I just hope it isn't raining. It isn't much fun struggling to get a wheelchair into and out of the car in the rain!
Younger son also wants us to watch a DVD together tomorrow, so there may not be much decluttering time. I might gather a couple of boxes to sort whilst watching the DVD though.
I hpoe everyone has had a more productive day than me,

wow everyone is doing so well, despite things cropping up. I'm not doing too badly, trouble is things don't seem to be getting done as quickly as possible. My main problems are being rather pregnant at the moment, have my one year old trying to 'help' whenever I'm going something, OH interfering or wanting to go out, and trying to get an OU assignment done.
But I took the bull by the horns today and got lots done, tons of washing done, 6 loads of clothes sorted and put away, sheets changed, sink and cooker cleaned, along with downstairs bathroom deep cleaned, so I'm doing ok, but the list still seems to be never ending. So I've made a list of all the horrible jobs I really don't want to do, that are just lurking there, day after day, and I am going to attempt to do some of them tomorrow. Things like cleaning the bin, scrubbing the disgusting grill pan, taking all the shelves out of the fridge and giving it a deep clean..... see all the nasty jobs, but I'm focusing on how much better I will feel when they're all done! I've written a more detailed list on my diary but didn't want to bore you all with it, where as on my diary I think everyone is used to me rambling on by now! I'll update tomorrow and let you know how I got on0 -
So, not a very good day today and not all jobs done yesterday. Yesterday did washing, dd to dentist, dog supplies, ironing. Took girls to spend their Christmas money as burning a hole!! Then to friends in the evening so that was the end of doing anything! Had a good night though.
Today woke up with diahorrea and bad period pains so have spent most of the day on the sofa. Took down all xmas cards and cleared the kitchen, online food shop and sorted the bins so not completely wasted day, but did take it out of me!
Tomorrow's list:
Take down decs and tree
ironing
B&M for dd1 to buy zubber!
Shopping being delivered 4-6, hopefully nearer 4 as nothing for tea!!
Minutes x 2 to type up and course work needs doing.
Banking for PTA needs sorting
Cupboard understairs needs sorting.
That's enough for tomorrow I think, would rather have a realistic list that I can achieve.
Hope everyone has had a good day.
Taffy xxNeed to sort my life out! :T0
