Again, long list - but this should keep me going through the weekend. Top tip - I've noticed I've got a lot of bits in my house that get moved from place to place to place, like a holding pattern for aircraft! Today, each time I found myself holding such an item I refused to put it down until it was in its proper place. Most of them went in the bin! Was actually quite cathartic, as some have been circling for months...0 -
I do the exact same, move something from kitchen to dinning room table, from dinning room table to bottom of the stairs, bottom of stairs to tol of stairs, s
Top of stairs to my bed where it will stay until bedtime and then get thrown on the floor till morning! So i am going to say to myself each time I lick an item up, dont put it dowwn lut it away.
Dh put up wall art in the bathroom and 3 small pic in the kitchen, he is slowly getting through his list too!
Today i have decluttered 13 items, some thrown some to cs and some to ist on ebay. I cleaned the microwave and descaled the kettle, hoovered ds bedroom hll stairs and landig and front room with nozzle so good deep hoover for those rooms. I am going to make a cuppa, sit in bed and mame a list for friday and weekend, its dd birthday tomorrow so wont be doing alot
Bye for now0 -
Jealous of everyone's motivation and completing of jobs...must try harder tomorrow.
I've decluttered some emails today - well, one of my accounts anyway, so at least that's something.
Christmas decs to go down tomorrow after I've driven my parents to the airport to go back home...
Going to de-clutter DD's clothes tomorrow so that we can go sales shopping on the weekend and replace what she's grown out of.
Hope everyone has a productive Thursday!0 -
I haven't done too well again today. However, we've been celebrating our DD1's birthday so I think I'm allowed. That's it for family birthdays until mine in the summer so no excuses now. I've picked up my cross stitch tonight in the hope of getting it finished by the end of the month. Ill be back to list making tomorrow :-)0

Morning mums
Today's jobs are...
* take washing out of dryer (runs overnight) and see if folding / hanging straight away will mean I don't have to iron (we never used to iron but since using the dryer they are very screwed up!)
* hit mr T with mummy dearest
* sort out tea for tonight (chicken and bacon stir fry)
Jobs that I will attempt if I'm not too tired...
* ironing (struggling to find a comfortable way to do this)
* pop to Julian graves to buy easiyo stuff to test the one my mum has leant us.
Long standing jobs to do...
* once new printer cable turns up print out photos to full all our frames and then sort the artwork in the house out
* admin work for a friend to do on the computer and help her out0 -
Morning all!
Thanks to the advise - I did manage to get the Red hot sauce out of sofa!!
Todays tasks inc.
Taking old chair to tip
Hoovering throughout & Cleaning bathroom floor
At least 1 load of washing
And flea treating the cat
Off to do a little bit of shopping and park with the boys today too.
Hope you all have a good one! I had a Cubs meeting last night that over run by and hour and a half. Was a really late night for me tbh. But we have full term and it appears to be pretty balanced so that was successful. I also applied to college (fingers crossed) and posted birthday cards. Eventually got around to stripping and remaking my bed!DFW Nerd #awaiting number - Proud to be dealing with my debts!
Dont cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

I got fed up of waiting for everyone to get up this morning so nipped into town whilst they slept to get jobs done. Had to get birthday cards for all January birthdays but all hallmark cards were reduced to 39p each so got some nice relative cards which should have been nearer £3 each.
I need to sort out a new account for my DD after the savings bond account my parents took out for her reached maturity. Having checked the kids saving pages this morning I visited Yorkshire Bank only to find they have stopped doing the account mention in Martin's pages so will have to restart my search.
I'm going to sort the weekly meal planner this afternoon ready to do an online shop in time for tomorrow's pay day :-)0 -
Hi
I've been into town this morning as my necklace had come into the jewellers ( original present from OH for Christmas had a little dent in it, oh and when we took it in it had gone half price in the sale so got half the money back ) so also ventured into poundland as I'd never been in before and got some anti bac spray, baby food pots and a tray. Also went Into our big charity shop on the outskirts of town and got some wool, a candle stand for the dining table and a diary page a day for 49p thought it would be good for getting me organised.
I've learnt that I can put dd in her play gym for 10 mins so I've cleaned the kitchen.
Going to write thank you cards tonight and change the sheets on the bed0 -
