Morning all!
Hangover free here today! :j Happy New Year to you all!
Today i will do flylady! I must do flylady!
[STRIKE]I need to get bin in[/STRIKE]
I'm going for a walk with the boys to the park - I have to do this to prevent going stir crazy
[STRIKE]I have put washing on already and i will peg it out (My mum's just shouted at me for this - apparently if you wash today you wash away a member of your family)[/STRIKE]
Going to strip and re make my bed
Get in loft (Will try, it will be hard on my own)[STRIKE] And get decorations down!!
[/STRIKE]
Still unmotivated but must soldier on!
Well i've done a few bits, Can't get in loft but have managed to take decorations down they are now on landing! - He will have to help me out later
I'm not doing my bed now - I've done boys beds, nets and sofa! Somebody has spilt Frank's Red hot sauce on my sofa and it has stained! It's been washed 3 times and bleached and washed again on 90 so far and it isn't shifting!
And i have helped my DS's sort out Lego! All models are safely on shelves, minifigures stored in the Large Lego head and spare bricks from older sets in boxes!
I need to put the clothes away and work on getting the stain out of sofa - other wise it's an expensive trip to Ikea! Although i really need more shelves, more Trofast, at least one spare sofa cover and some dining chairs!? Eeeekkk! Maybe i should avoid Ikea after all.

3 adults in the house, one is our 20YO son, a 15YO daughter and 2 cats. Hubby and I work full time and I'm out from 8.10am to 5.45pm (at the earliest). I do all the shopping and the majority of the cleaning, my son does most of the cooking these days as he's a trained chef but only works part-time (long story) and he washes the dishes (no dishwasher). Daughter does very little...... she's supposed to hoover the house twice a week and keep on top of her room but that never happens. She's a lazy wee so-and-so and lies in bed until lunchtime at the weekends  So she's my first challenge!
Hubby looks after the garden but it's a struggle - in as much as it's huge and he's also a bit non-motivated. It's all or nothing with him. He'll either not go out in the garden for weeks or he's out there for 12 hours. Little and often I keep saying but he never listens.
So anyway..... list of stuff needing done, in priority order, is:- Dump run - cardboard, old PC games and DVD's that won't sell on Magpie, old TV etc.
- Take the two bags of too-small clothes and summer clothes out to the garage for storage
- Grocery stocktake - cupboards, freezer, fridge and garage. I've started the Grocery Challenge too!
- Meal plans for January
- Cleaning rota for January - to include cat treatments. We always forget to de-flea and worm them
- Take down the Xmas decs and pack away again!
- List a couple of bits on fleabay. I may not though. A lot of my clutter is caused by my fleabay intentions and it never gets done. I might just take it to the charity shop - Jasper Conran bag anyone?
OK, I've achieved none of the above so far - I've been laid up with a cold since Saturday..... slowly making its way into my chest. Not a good start to 2013! I'm back at work on the 3rd so I HAVE to get better0 -
Afternoon everyone!
I did family visiting this morning, so nothing done in the house, other than strip the beds after last nights visitors.
Plan for this afternoon is to put the spare quilts etc away and get the house back to normal- then work on a menu plan for the rest of the week - this is a biggie for me as Im terrible at planning food. Its my MAJOR downfall.
Wish me luck...Sealed Pot no 20110 -

Hi everyoneI would love to join this thread!
I am a sahm to 3 boys and whilst my house is "tidy" it really needs de cluttering. I also want to start paying more then just the minimum payments off my debts. I have already sorted out the boys bedroom so I will start on our bedroom next. We are having the longe re plastered and decorated soon so that will give me the kick up the bum I need to start on that room!
So list for my bedroom is
Sort out wardrobe
Sort out underbed
De clutter bed side cabinet
De clutter top of wardrobe
eBay/charity shop everything we don't need/use.

I've made progress with my life plan and today I have washed all the bedclothes ready for the whole family to change this evening.
I've also taken the decorations and cards down. DH insists that we leave the tree and lights until we get home from our budget break.
I had a dicey moment with my medication yesterday - went to refill my weekly tablet box and I'd run out of one that I'm not allowed to stop taking suddenly. I had to appeal to the gp receptionist's better nature to get it sorted out on New Year's Eve. Subsequently checked all tablets and wrote on my calendar when I need to put in for repeat prescriptions. This might be normal for some but it's super-organised for me!
I've also sorted birthday cards out of the drawer for the next few birthdays, and written a list of cards I shall need for the first six month, to put a bulk order through.
That's about it for now. Off to remind my boys to pack for tomorrow's trip. Oh, and to check for eating out vouchers and restaurant addresses in Liverpool so I can keep the costs down while away.
I'm actually looking forward to the break now:j0 -
Another unproductive day, but did get DD's room tidied out.
Off to do preschool admin now.
Then to write list of stuff to do tomorrow.

Happy new year
Today has been fairly good, all the decorations are down and away, pleased to have things pretty much back to normal :j have done a few loads of washing, changed the children's and spare room bedding, hoovered most of downstairs and all of upstairs and helped the children tidy their bedroomsI've also transferred all of the info I needed to from my old Calendar to my new one. I've now got an iPad :j so I'm hoping to make good use of it to help me keep organised
Tomorrow I need to Hoover the conservatory and mop all the floors, clean the bathroom/toilets and if the weather isn't too bad, go out and get some thank you cards for the kids to write.
I WILL be organised :cool:0
