My Quidco has been declined too!
If I get the opportunity to cancel, i will do!
I have a feeling that Virgin will charge for 07744/07755 now that T-Mobile is doing so....Don't get mad, get rid!

Have not read the full thread.... but I see quidco as a service, not an advert, they ( for a small fee) pass on the what the advertisers pay.Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0

NOTE: for those still thinking of ordering one, please note that it is NO LONGER 6 months free. u get 2 months free instead.
For those who have ordered, the paper that you get actually reads : 2 months free...despite it being 6 months free. for peace of mind, call the PS or E2s to clarify, and take names, etc if necessary.0 -
I have an email from them stating that it's a 6 month contract at £0 through a cashback arrangement. If they try to pull a fast one I'll take them to trading standards. After the 'Quidco' swizz I'm in the mood for a fight!
If this offer has proved too popular then they only have themselves to blame. Don't they think these things through before putting them on sale?0 -
How can they get away with paying zero via quidco when they clearly advertised a £50 payment??You know what... you can't beat a good bargain!!!0

Well that's what they said when I ordered the Motorola L6 on 18/04 (received and started paying line rental), but now my £50 has been declined. I am chasing it up with Quidco, but I'm not holding my breath.0 -
I took up this 6-month Virgin SIM-only deal, albeit through The Phone Spot rather than e2save direct. I got the e2save welcome pack through, but nothing further on the insurance.
The welcome pack states:3 Months FREE Insurance
"Every phone that we sell is offered with 3 months insurance completely free of charge, which covers you for theft and accidental damage. Confirmation of cover and full information will be sent within the next 14 days. The insurance is provided by The Carphone Warehouse and Norwich Union.
Your insurance cover will be charged separately (by Direct Debit) from your mobile phone bill after the free period. Costs vary by handset. Please refer to Certificate of Insurance for details..."
Is there any insurance provided with this SIM-only deal, or is it only added to proper phone contracts? Has anyone received the insurance paperwork through? I'm coming up to my second bill arriving, so need to be thinking about cancelling it if there is actually any insurance active.0 -
I gave the insurance people a call. There's normally no insurance on SIM-only contracts. So that's one less thing to worry about.
Now I wonder when the optimum time to cancel the contract is to get the full 6-months cashback, with minimal spend in month 7.0
