  • I got my phone from ThePhoneSpot and had to cancel insurance - it was definately there as I got a cancellation letter through the post, might be worth checking the information pack to see if it listed.

Can someone reassure me with when I will need to send my bill off? I have seen others that say a month is defined as 30 days therefore 90 days would be the first cashback. My contract stared on the 25/04/07.

Many thanks! :) PS. Any news on quidco?

Back to the esave 6 month deal .... it appears this thread has been hijacked along the way ;) ....

I took out the 6 month sim on 25th April and have now had my second paper bill, dated 3rd June, for calls etc over the previous month.

Someone said in a thread earlier "If it says to send your third bill, it will actually be the second bill that you send. This is because the first bill you actually recieve will usually cover more than one month and will count as your first two bills."

But, my first bill was only for £10 (£15-£5 credit) and doesn't appear to be for two months.

So, is this the invoice I have to return to esave or is it the next one?

    Thanks

    TG.
  • Hello TommyGun,

I work for e2save.com and if you have taken out the contract in the month if April and the cashback information advises you to send in your 3rd monthly bill it would be the bill received in the month of June.

With most contracts taken out towards the end of the month the first bill received is in the month after purchase but it bills you for the basic service for the previous month and the second month of the contract. In your case the first bill received was only for the first part month of your contract but the network would not make us aware of this and the bill received in June would still count as your 3rd monthly bill.

I hope this answers your question.

    Rebecca.

    Hi Rebecca,

Thanks for your help - just to be totally clear ..

I signed up on 24th April and I have a Sales Invoice (dated 24th April) which looks like a till receipt, for £0.01. The descrition is "Mastercard" and I assume that this is just to validate my card details.

The first bill (on headed paper) was dated 3/5/07 for £10 (£15 monthly charge less £5 credit). My next bill is dated 3/6/97 for £15.

Do I claim now or after the next bill?

    Thanks. :)

    TG.
  • I would advise you to send the bill received in the month of June as your 3rd monthly bill.

If you are happy to personal message me your e2save customer reference number I can get this looked into straight away and put a note onto your account as to what I have advised you of.

    Rebecca
  • Also, in regards to your question I would advise you to send the bill you have received this month to us within 30 days from the billing date by recorded delivery.

    Kind Regards,
    Rebecca

  • It would be interesting to know which call centre advised you of this as there is no truth in your statement.

E2save do not make the decision of who can and who can not take a contract out, this is managed by the networks directly. In order to get a contract you have to pass a credit check. Each network has their own credit checking criteria. Due to data protection we only have access to the outcome of the credit check and are not informed of the reason for this result so can not provide you with any further information.

I hope this has cleared up any confusion.

As my account was opened on april 30th I sent my June bill in on Friday in accordance with Rebecca's and the call centre's instructions. Also today my£36.50 quidco has changed from validated to recieved.

Mine has changed from recieved to paid. .........£36.50 richer. Do I need to give 30 days notice to end the contract or will it naturally end after 6 months?
    Making money make sense...........:T
