Read this recent article about the Virgin SIM card deal through e2save.com and thought it sounds like a great deal indeed - until I went ahead with it and ordered a Virgin SIM card through the internet on Friday last week!! The card was confirmed as to be delivered before 1pm on 8 May to begin with. What happened then was a series of mistakes by e2save and one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. My order got stuck in credit checks due to a system fault, would therefore not arrive today (which was when I needed it for). When I then phoned e2save's customer service dept. yesterday to cancel the order and get an alternative SIM card somewhere else, I was told the cancelation would be no problem - just to receive a text earlier on this afternoon telling me my order would be delivered on 9 May! Just spoken to their Customer Service, and it turned out the person I spoke to yesterday had NOT canceled the order, for some reason unknown. I now HAVE to take delivery of it tomorrow and return the SIM card by registered mail - at MY expense! And if I wanted the money for the return back, I'll need to send in the invoice to e2save. - My conclusion: an absolute hassle to deal with that company, really not worth it, e2save an extremely customer-unfriendly and unreliable company to deal with, and I would certainly NOT recommend them to anyone!!!! I found them a nightmare to deal with because of that!0

Yes, still waiting for e2save to post here about their cashback scheme and the nightmares that can unfold. After all, if they want Money Savers to sign up for this kind of deal thay should confirm that they will sort out existing customers queries first, otherwise why would people knowingly sign up knowing the amount of hassle the cashback deal can generate? Unless of course as has been inferred elsewhere, e2save are only interested in the sale.
What would be extremely disappointing is their "promise" to Martin to sort out genuine issues only being a promise for deals sold as a result of the plug here.
Would e2save like to deny that the type of issues raised on this forum occur with its scheme? What is being done to ensure genuine customers who return their bills on time get their money? Particularly as many of the issues are with customer referral fees and automatic cashbacks being paid, as these don't even require any effort on the customers part, they should just be received.

I returned my Virgin sim card to OSPS and today rec a cheque for the postage of £1.40, I was told to return it recorded delivery as it was only a sim. i did not have to send in an invoice.
Make sure that e2save send Virgin a disconnection notice otherwise you will still get a bill from Virgin and have a direct debit set up, even though I told Virgin that OSPS confirmed that they had rec the sim card, they will not cancel the contract until they receive the disconnection notice.0 -

I bought this SIM only deal in April from The Phone Spot via Quidco.
£50 was tracked. But in the last few days, this cashback has been declinedcan't believe the cheek of it!
Have logged a ticket with Quidco, but they say it can take 90 days for a response. Great...0 -
Quidco £50 is for a mobile phone.
Maybe just getting a SIM card doesn't qualify, so your tracked transaction has been declined when the phonespot discovered you didn't really get a phone.0 -
I bought an O2 sim only deal from the phone spot recently through quidco, I have just found out that the £50 referral has been declined, has anyone else similar experiences??0

Have just noticed the same thing on my 'Quidco' account too. Surely we're still entitled to the £7.50 they're paying on the 'sim only' sales?0 -
I rang to e2save CS to ask for the sim card be returned, she told me that they will call me back within 48 hrs with instruction on how to return. so far no call yet.
Is this the normal way e2save handle return order?0 -

Still, The Phone Spot have since updated their Quidco message with £7.50 for the SIM Only deal, supposedly after realising that they were losing a lot of money in this deal.
They should still honour the £50 that the early birds sussed out.
Anyone from Phone Spot/E2Save lurking out there that can verify?0
