Well my £45 cheque arrived today. With the £36 from Quidco as well I'm very happy.

Big thanks to all those who supplied information on this offer and the cashback tips.

Now I just need to remember which bill to send for the 6th month!

That's REALLY easy; don't get confused by all the discussions about new t&c etc. On yours the month you actually got it is month one (ignore bill numbers) so BASED ON THAT the bill dated in month six is the one you need to send.

I assumed the 3rd bill would be required, oops! My first bill from Virgin is dated the 3rd May 07.

I guess because it was late in April (25th) that I took out the contract the 1st month = April, 2nd month = May, 3rd month = June, which makes sense, even though on the 3rd June I would have only had the contract for ~40 days, it is still the 3rd month.

Thanks again for your help and hopefully I can order another bill or find one online :undecided :)

I'll remind you to cancel the contract in month 5........I took mine out a day after you.
    Making money make sense...........:T

    Hi,

Don't the T&Cs state that you still need to be connected and have a contract to get the cashback?

If you canel thirty days before the end of the 6 months, won't the last statement show you are no longer connected and have a contract?

Would the retailer then not pay out the final cashback?

I want to canel, but not loose my cashback. Any ideas?

    Cheers

You will be sending in a bill when you are still connected and there's no conflict at all.

I can also confirmed that I got my £45 and also £32.44 from Quidco. Thanks to Rebecca for advice and guidance. :)
  • Excellent...people are getting Quidco as well ??? Good to know that..

I took the similar contract through !!!!!! (but I got welcome pack from e2save) so they are the same... but my quidco was declined ...I raised the query ..Quidco sent it to merchant in June.. but since then no update.. I am updating my ticket on Quidco.. but nobody is responding... What to do...

This is my personal experience but I never had luck with Quidco enquiries..once the transaction missed to track or declined incorrectly, its not possible to get it back to tracked/validated status..

AFAIK, I was one of the first to sign up to the Esave/Quidco deal, so perhaps they are honouring initial signups but not later ones on this nature.
  • I signed up through Quidco/ The Phone Spot (E2SAVE afilliate) on 12-Apr-07..

Was I late in signing up? I don't think so...

I signed up through 'Phone Spot' on April 25th and got the initial acceptance then the decline. I've put in an enquiry which is still 'in process' but am determined to get something from them.
Also had confirmation of the first 'cashback' of £45. Did everyone else send in all eight pages of the relevant bill or was it just me?
