This is descending into a slanging match between a number of posters, which doenst help the OP...
Al I will say is that it depends on what the norm is in OPs relationship... With me and my hubby, we dont have oppisite sex friends, simply because we never have... If a female friend suddenly cropped up in his life then I would feel a bit ruffled... depends on OPs normal life - and the fact she is not happy with this situation...Hi - im a member of the Debt Help UK FORUM...0 -
Yes he does.
Seriously now... How do you manage when your hubby is out of your site? I worry that you must wind yourself up in knots about who hes talking to, where he is etc... It just doesnt seem like a healthy attitude to have... Hes your hubby! he chose to marry you! you must trust him?You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

I don't think it's so much having a low opinion of men, as knowing what makes them tick...
SuzeYou have such a low opinion of men honey... You really do... My brother is reading this over my shoulder, and hes a dumbfounded as i am at some of the comments on here...I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Savings & Investments, Small Biz MoneySaving and House Buying, Renting & Selling boards. I really don't worry about it. My husband knows that if he did cheat it is very likey that I would find out, so that keeps it in his trousers. I am sure he would not risk losing his family over some bird.0 -

See.... now THAT i agree with!! A 'new' situation should perhaps be treated with caution... But, as I said originally, if he says shes just his mate, then the op shouldve by now got the measure of the situation, and hopfully have had her mind put at ease...You lied to me Edward. Well it is their fault as they should have the sense NOT to put themselves in a position in which cheating would arise. Like being alone with females.
If I am on a diet I don't walk down the chocolate aisle at the supermarket. Same thing.
Yeah but according to you, and others, it's primal instinct so how can the poor man be blamed for not being strong enough to fight it?
Sorry you've contradicted yourself and, although i can see part of your point, I feel that applying the same rule to all men to be bullsh!t really.
You haven't factored for the men who don't want any children so where does the urge to procreate fit in there? The stupid things you do, you regret... if you have any sense, and if you don't regret them, maybe you're stupid. - Katharine Hepburn0 -
Haha, I just showed this to mr tru -Bloody hell, am I supposed to be grateful to mr tru for being restrained for the past 19 years???
Mr tru has had it offered to him on a plate by 2 different people  He'd never met either of them before, one didn't know he was married - once he told her she apologised and backed off. The other knew, a mutual friend told her he's married with 2 kids, and she thought it was OK because she'd never met me
Mr tru has known our female friend since they were 13, he introduced her to his mate (who he met when he was 14). I met them when I was 17, a few weeks after meeting mr tru. They're married now, with 3 kids. His mate is my boss. Are you confused yet? :rotfl: If she rings and wants a rant about something but I'm not there and mr tru answers the phone, she'll say to him "oh well, I suppose you'll do"Same with me and the husband/boss/friend.
I just don't see the problem :rolleyes:Bulletproof0 -

I also find it interesting that I have been with my husband for 15 years and most of the posters arguing with me are single. When you live with a man day in day out for most of your adult life you get to understand them.0 -
Im 32! can i ask respectfully why?
lol
I asked because you dont seem to think like anyone else I know around my age which is 38. I had thought maybe you are a lot younger, but you arent really so its got nothing to do with it.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -

So you do trust men!!! Thats what ive been trying to say!!! Most men (and all the ones i know!) love their wives and girlfriends and kids, and me being their mate isnt a problem, cause even if i was like a rabid dog on heat, they wouldnt want to loose what theyve got!!You lied to me Edward.
