You have such a low opinion of men honey... You really do... My brother is reading this over my shoulder, and hes a dumbfounded as i am at some of the comments on here...

It is not about having a low opinion. I am just a realist. Men are programmed to sleep around. It is not their fault.

I don't think I'm a ladies man....just a person who values friendships be it male or female. My longest friendship is with a female I met 30+ years ago at College...she, her hubby & 2 boys are now in Alaska.

4 years ago they were in the UK visiting family & friends (including me & my wife) Her eldest boy being a precocious (sp.) 'teenager' asked us each seperately on the QT why we hadn't 'got it' together...we gave the same answer....which was? 'I've never ever hated myself that much'....honestly if we had ever gone there...one of us would be so so...well...DEAD!

What's that got to do with it? Does aging condition women to think all men are wh*res?!

You still don't seem to get it. The decision is not just based on if they're there and a woman's there. A whole other lot of factors come into play. Is he happy in his current relationship/work, is he single, has he not had any action for a while, is he drunk. It's not as simple as I think you like to think it is.

And for all this talk about "we're just friends, he doesn't fancy me" - a lot of men who sleep with women don't actually fancy the woman, they just want sex!

Exactlly! As ive said, Im a full on 'cheeky banterer' as are all of my mates... we like a bit of 'nudge nudge wink wink' innuendo... but we're not a pack of wild animals desperately trying to copulate!!

I would not be happy if you spoke to my husband like that. I think it's disrespectful.

And I CERTAINLY wouldn't be happy if he spoke to you like it!

Well it is their fault as they should have the sense NOT to put themselves in a position in which cheating would arise. Like being alone with females.

If I am on a diet I don't walk down the chocolate aisle at the supermarket. Same thing.
