Hororay, you get it. 70% of married men cheat. The other 30% have just never had the chance.
Thats such a horrible view of the world... Do you have trust issues with your partner? Does he go out to work? Do you monitor who he talks to when hes out of your sight? Thats really really shocking to me that someone could think like that. Truly, Im dumbfounded...You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

It was put down to the fact that women choose a good provider to marry (to provide for their children) but their instinct is to choose a strong fit male to father their children. A bit like packs and herds of animals - only the strongest male gets to pass their genes on for the sake of the species.
So that means that 1 in 10 of the mothers posting on this tread could be big ho's

In that case, there should be no problem with having a male friend, unless he shows an interest in you.
I hope that doesn't come across as too blunt, it's just that you and I have very different views on this, you probably don't understand my point of view just as much as I don't understand yours
If he likes your company he is interested.0 -
Surely you don't need it pointed out that men are different from women - ever heard of testosterone? They ARE more likely to be "sex crazed loonys [sic]" than women are.
Fidelity isn't in men's genetic makeup - they're programmed to go forth and multiply, so having one mate isn't natural to them.

Exactlly! As ive said, Im a full on 'cheeky banterer' as are all of my mates... we like a bit of 'nudge nudge wink wink' innuendo... but we're not a pack of wild animals desperately trying to copulate!!You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

I have trust isues with all men! All men would cheat if they thought 100% their wife would not find out. My husband is lovely, he really is, but I am not stupid enough to think that if some leggy blond offered it to him on a plate he would say no.0 -

I think that's where the difference is in what is acceptable and what's not. Some people are charming to make others feel better which I think is fine. Others are flirty to draw attention to themselves and feel good about themselves which is inappropriate for anyone with a partner IMHO. Of course some couples get off on flirting in front of each other which is disrespectful to the person being flirted with/teased.The stupid things you do, you regret... if you have any sense, and if you don't regret them, maybe you're stupid. - Katharine Hepburn0 -

yep, we'd need to define flirting really. In my view, friendly flirting would be just complimenting people on things, and being interested or making jokey comments.
Like a girl at work, me and her where going on a work trip, she says we'll get the train at 9 rather than 8 "so we both get another hour in bed". My immediate response was "thats the best offer i've had for ages".
perhaps i should worry she won't speak to me anymore as she thinks i have given up on men and want her0
