Alright you crazy kids!!! my mate (lets call him stuart...) is asleep on my lap at the moment cause hes really drunk... hes got a wife, and 3 bloody fantastic kids... ive rung her to say hes kipping here (he couldnt move if he tried!!).... Am I some rubbish, slattern old tramp? Or am i just his mate???
A "mate" would have made sure he got home safely to his wife. A married man should in bed with his wife, not sleeping on a single girls lap.
Out of interest have you ever been married vik? You seem to have very little concept of boundries within a marriage and why they are needed.0 -
I suspect if Kerrys worse fears have been realised we won't hear for a while as she tries to sort out what to do. I really hope it was all harmless.
The saddest thing is she felt unable to talk about this with her OH, who was totally out of order IMHO.Sealed pot challenge number 5130 -

did you think of calling him a cab so he could be with his wife and wonderful kids?!0 -
Bet Vik6525 didnt tell the wife he was lying with his head in her lap!“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I get what your saying... but have you ever tried to move a drunk sleeping man?

Of course I told her he was passed out with his head in my lap! And she was greatful this morning that I'd looked after him and got him somewhere safe when he was incredibly drunk. And in answer to *some* people on here, she was REALLY glad that he hadnt gone home, cause he would have woken everyone up...
Blimey, some people on here are incredibly possesive..You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....

so as a single woman it appears that once a mate gets married, the whole tone of your friendship must change. sad really.
one of my best mates i met about a year ago, we started emailing out of the blue about something on a website, clicked and now email a couple of times a day. In this time he got wed. good for him. we've met for beers a few times, with other mates of his. we text sometimes at weekends when he doesn't have email access.
the fact he is married and male makes it no real difference to the female mates i email and text every day. if he was TOLD to stop contacting me, that would be very sad really.
I really doubt any woman planning to have an afffair or already having an affair with a guy would attend a BBQ, i know i'd never dream of doing that, would just seem either VERY SICK, or bound to lead to being caught out.
She may well be just like many single women whose mates are all now married/have kids and an invite to a BBQ at the weekend is actually a nice thing to look forward to if no other plans.0 -
And a little bit paranoid too.
If I was the OP, I'd be convinced my OH was having an affair after reading some of these posts.
I know! None of this is really helping the op to be honest... Everyones acting like women and men cant be mates, and a married man simply shouldnt have female friends etc etc... Its very very bizarre...You lied to me Edward. There IS a Swansea. And other places.....
