Ok my final word on this ridiculous subject of how much well-deserved fine/how many penalty points/how long a ban/how many days afraid to pick up the soap in the shower he takes at HMP Twatface will the law-breaking OP receive.

Personally I do not care how small your !!!!!!/how fragile your ego/ how fast your car or whether you care about the environment/don't believe what you read in the papers/can't read. I don't care whether you kill yourself through driving in excess of the speed limit (or frankly driving within it - it will mean an end to this load of trollocks).

You chose to speed, you got caught. Someone will decide the price you pay. End of.

Whoops thanked in error, Any way you can remove thanks?

Touch of penis envy there, I think, given the focus of the comments.

shame it's your last post cos i came on especially to tell you that whilst driving home from work today i was on the phone. I saw a yellow jacket ahead of me and dropped my phone before looking at my speedo. I was doing 40mph in a 30 zone and knew i'd been busted.
Copper waved me over and was a jolly nice gentleman who told me to behave myself as there was a school nearby and sent me on my way. I should have had £100 (at least) fine and 6 points so he decided the price i should pay and it was zippo, nada, nothing, not a bean.

so stick that in your tampax!

    You were very lucky.

    Pity.

why is it a pity? do you think getting points and a fine would stop me?

talking of pity, you have mine as you appear to be missing some important parts of life... like enjoying yourself.

I went to the village chippy with my daughter yesterday. The pavement is narrow (where we have one at all ) and there were 4 boys walking towards us. A car came speeding through the village, struck one boy (who was on the pavement ) with such force that the wing mirror was knocked off by the boys hand. The mirror then hit me on the knee (could have been worse). No doubt the idiot driving thought he was `driving according to the conditions`. He didn`t seem inclined to stop and argue the case though. The lads picked up the mirror. Hopefully the driver can be found and done for this.

No - that would be driving without due care and attention, and added to that he's failed to stop at the scene of an accident. Did any of you get the reg, as it would be pretty much open and shut with that many witnesses? Did you give your details to the lads as a witness, or did you report it yourself?

I can`t believe I didn`t . I was trying to calm down my daughter who was a bit shook up. I couldn`t even say what type of car it was (prefer motorbikes). Hopefully the lads had more nous than me.
