I've received the confirmation email that my claim has been validated (11 days after it was submitted, but they do say allow 14 days).
It is a bit of a long drawn out process, but I am confident that Samsung/Opia will honour the cashback.0 -

Galaxy tab I bought from tesco on Christmas eve has just had cash back validated .
Galaxy tab I bought online from john lewis on 16th Dec had missing doc email wanting pics still waiting to hear back. So fingers crossed.0 -
I submitted 4 claims, only received 2 confirmation emails.
Phoned them up and they confirmed that I had 4 claims, 2 pending, 2 successfull. They said they had problems with their emails at the start of January.
Then hadn't replied to my email in 7 days either because the woman said they had 17000 emails in their inbox. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
I bought one and one on behalf of my sister (as I do her online ordering). That was early November. I emailed and phoned Tesco and was getting nowhere trying to get my order email confirmations for both tablets (bought at separate times). I went onto the Tesco site and printed off my order information from my account on the Tesco website. I eventually uploaded these to Samsung on Day 52 as I was getting worried that it was going to go over Day 60 (in case I got caught up with normal living and forget to do the upload) and explained that it was all that Tesco had provided me with as Tesco website were apparently having problems with their website the weekend I purchased both tablets. Apparently it wasn't an easy job for them just to manually email the Order Confirmations to me but the girl I spoke to 6 weeks ago said that she could order VAT receipts and it could take up to 6 weeks. I explained that it will take me over the 60 days and she said she will ask if it could be done sooner. Not that I expected that to happen as possibly many other customers in the same situation. Anyway I still had not received the VAT invoices today which was now at 6½ weeks so phoned and the girl I spoke to said that there is someone who can do the VAT invoices right away but she is off. I can't understand why it is such a problem getting a receipt from Tesco Direct. Every other company includes a Delivery Note (although this was not acceptable, for some reason, by Samsung). You would think that because their system was having a problem and if customers phoned to say they had not received an Order Confirmation, it would not have been a big problem to them email it to customers. Anyway, success! During the night someone from Tesco emailed both VAT invoices! I got these uploaded, along with photos which Samsung have since requested, although I don't think they said anything about that in their Terms and Conditions (I must read them again). I also uploaded my Credit Card statement with the number blanked out which shows clearly the 2 individual purchased at £238 each from Tesco on the 2 dates I gave them. Terrible problem trying to photograph the back of the tablet to get the serial number for them as it was so tiny and pale letters. Had to get hubby to hold a magnifying glass over it. Big problem with reflection but hopefully if they do an enlarge they will see the serial number matches the one on the box which I also took. Hopefully that's all they need now. Will put another message on once I hear something back from them. Hope everyone manages to get their £50 cashback eventually. I've never known anything so difficult as what they have made this. I think they are hoping people will give up."For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."0

My process - claim sent 08/01, claim validated (with no further requests made) today 18/01. Perfectly happy with that, just waiting for the money now0

Sorry if I missed this above, found your post quite hard to read without paragraphs.
Anyway won't be much help for you now, but did you realise that Samsung / Opia were accepting the Tesco confirmation e-mails that everyone gets when they order... You didn't need to contact Tesco for any other receipts.A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A

Anyone has had their claim from a purchase made at John Lewis validated?
They have requested an invoice, the email confirmation and delivery note were not accepted, fair enough, but the problem is that the VAT invoice that can be downloaded from the John Lewis account is dated two days after the purchase (the date the payment went through I expect).
I have to say I always avoid these cahsback [STRIKE]scams[/STRIKE] deals, because I know they will do everything they can to avoid paying, but I only went ahead because the offer came directly from Samsung. If I knew what I know now I would have gone for a different tablet, for sure.0 -

I usually avoid cashback offers but in fairness, I don't think this is a scam as such. I think the main problem is that Opia were unable to cope with the volume of claims around Christmas and they clearly didn't have the manpower to respond to all the emails and phone calls.
I also think there is an element of them trying to minimise claims by asking for extra information, but this seems to be done for a minority of claims.
Today I finally had a response to my complaint email I sent them a couple of weeks ago. So they are getting around to things, just very slowly. Very poor customer service and it does not reflect well on Samsung. I will think twice before going for a cashback offer in future.0 -
I purchased mine from John Lewis online mid December
Submitted my claim 19/1 and received validation email the next day- 20/1 no further information was required. Perhaps they have got there act together.0
