One (daft)question I have. Does the router need to be left on all the time? I know that sounds silly but I'm not the most computer literate of folk.:o0 -

If you want to be able to make and receive calls any time, then yes the router and the ATA need to be left on.It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -
Thanks for the settings BexTech.
Unfortunately I don't have the required options (v3.19).
Another question if you don't mind?
How can I set it up so eg.
Sipgate - Line 1 - incoming only
Voipstunt - Line 2 - outbound only
Thanks on advance.:)0 -

You just enter the required account details on the Line 1 and Line 2 settings.
For incoming calls only just don't use that line to make calls. Though you could set up the dial plan to only allow 0800 or 0808 numbers.

Will update the device, this is for the PAP2 ATAs and not the PAP2T ATAs.
Make sure this is done on a generic unlocked device, and not one previously locked to Vonage. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... I have just bought a PAP2 from Ebay which should be delivered shortly, and like many others in this post, VOIP is a steep learning curve!0
