She made no attempt to enter, but it felt threatening, she sad she was the nice guy and that if I didn't pay or sort it with the company then the ones who turned up next would be nastier!!!!

When having such visitors and you allow them to speak its good practice to have a dictaphone handy and show them you are recording everything they say. :)
PS And take a pic from your mobile!

    Thats true.
Any how, if any debt collector called on me I would either tell them to quickly go(I'm 6' 4'', 19st no fat) or have some fun and ask them to wait til I set up my dictaphone(yes I have one) and take a pic of them.

Considering the total misrepresentation and threatening tone of both letter and the individual behaviour I would not be inclined to wait for the OfT ..if anyone turns up again and starts that nonsense you should immediately call the Police.

This is threatening behaviour / harassment both of which are criminal matters .

You should also send a Notice Before Action (NBA) to the debt collection company informing them that any continuance will be reported as Harrassment to the Police AND you will be taking action against them, the Parking Company and landowner if the do not cease and desist and pay reasonable compensation for their harassment thus far .

Then if they carry on get the Police involved.
Harassment of this nature is Criminal.

Secondly if they don't offer you a decent out of Court settlement sue their sorry asses for Harassment ..you will get help from here if you need it.

    PS

That was my considerd response after taking a very deep breath ...my initial response on reading was "What !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Who the f**k do these people think they are ??????????"

I would just laugh at them and find their lies very amusing. If you want, you could write to them instructing that you are withdrawing any perceived right of access onto your property. I would film any further harassment they attempt. Most mobiles or digital cameras take decent video.

It may be simple for you or I to laugh at these people but some are more vunerable and if you have a genuine fear caused by their actions that is sufficent for legal action.

This shower of !!!! def need to be stopped in their tracks ..I was offering a legal solution ..there are alternatives of course , some borderline legal and others most assuredly not ! ;)
  • If she comes back ask to see her ID and make a written note of her name (or take a photo of her ID) and then ask her if she'll be kind enough to wait on your doorstep while you call for the police to attend.

    She won't like that.
