How would I go about doing that?0 -

There may be problems for them with this, that is if they havent already got a succesful court order against you. From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"0 -
Breathe easy Arsey. It's just all hot air and intimidation.
"They will attempt to assess the goods that could be removed by CC bailiffs"
They have no powers at all. I'd say there's no chance they obtained a Judgement against you.0 -

Thanks for replying it is what I thought but I was a little worried in truth.0 -
nice to see you treated it with the respect it deserves. As you have had this letter from them they can't have sent any papers elsewhere.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Because of the bailiff threat, some feared they had managed to get default judgement against you. This can happen if paperwork goes missing in the post and you don't attend. They then win by default. Parking co.s try this sometimes. If it did happen you can tell the court you were unaware and the judgement gets "put aside"
They won't attend your property, it's just to scare you. If they did, you just tell 'em to go forth etc.0 -
You should send a copy of that letter to the Office of Fair Trading as it breaches debt collection guidelines. They will not/cannot attend your property, it's just a threat but an unlawful one.
You haven't got a CCJ behind your back. This is just PS&P's standard letter and it should be reported as it's unlawful to state that they have what is basically Court bailiff powers. They don't.
Have a look on the OFT website, I think it's quite easy to report a debt collector for a breach of debt collection guidelines and enough complaints can result in the CCA licence of the debt collector being withdrawn. Takes ages and lots of complaints - but I would do it now, make your voice heard.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The reference number is still on that letter!
In the box saying "To make payment using credit or debit card"
I wish their external collectors would come here, I could do with giving someone a good smack!:D0
