Car Parking Partnership not giving up
Arsey
About 18 months ago my wife received a parking ticket when parking near Warwick University to attend a course. I am the registered keeper of the car and have received many letters from the car parking partnership and other companies such as PS&P demanding various amounts.
I have so far ignored all of the letters including one threatening a court date if they didn't receive payment within 7 days. After a few months the letters stopped but they started appearing again in July. Since then I am getting about one new letter per month. The latest letter from PS&P says that if I do not pay within 7 days that court appointed bailiffs will come to my property to reclaim goods to the cost of the fine.
Am I right to assume this to be complete nonsense?
EDIT - New letter on page 2
Any idea when they will give up?
Thanks in advance.

Can you post up a copy of the letter please
with your details scrubbed out?, the letter sounds like they are acting after receiving a CCJ. So if you can post so we can check and then go from there. Baliffs can only be appointed after a ccj remains unpaid
Probably just a new scary sounding letter but best just to be on safe side
Would like to see the word fine on this letter toFor everthing else there's mastercard.

I feel a complaint to the Office of Fair Trading coming on!
If we could see the letter it would be good, but if it says what you say it says (and we've no reason to disbelieve you) regarding their ability to simply send bailiffs round without mentioning that they'd need a court warrant, and they can't get one of those without taking you to court and winning, then you should raise a formal complaint with the OfT and send them a copy of the letter.
You'll be dropping them right in it with any luck.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
I'm sure I'm not the only one to notice a sudden influx of this type of letter, a twisted version of the truth to unsettle a newbie driver.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

PS&P would not have a judgement it would be car parking partnership who could send the chaps around, but we know it's all bovine excrement!0

Wasn't there another one of these on here today earlier?Je Suis Cecil.0

Have you checked your credit file recently to see if you have a CCJ that you didn't know about?0
