I actually found a link to the printable voucher here on MSE:

    vouchers . moneysavingexpert . com / vouchers / selfridges_20_2.jpg

With this and the £25 AMEX credit on a £50 spend this weekend with the ShopWestEnd2012 promo this turns out to be a great sale.

    Best use offer is £62.50 item for £25. (£62.50 -> £50 after 20% off, then £25 credit).

Used my Amex card online at the RAC and was surprised to get the £5 small retailer email straight afterwards. :)

  • I shopped in a shop listed got to the till and my card didnt work because they dont actually take Amex:mad: so paid with my debit card and emailed Amex who were very apologetic and credited me £5 manually no questions asked:)

    How did U email AMEX?
I have got the same problem:(
Can U provide an email address?

Depends on which card you have but I logged in and sent them a secure message and they responded quite quickly. They were apologetic but didn't offer me the £5. Not really an issue as I'm on for about £100 :)

Used MBNA yesterday, only one e-mail.so logged in and
chatted internally to them ,they said it was an Amex ,s deal,so they will/should sort it? Very polite.
Phoned Amex, told them story, they said don,t usually deal with other cards, BUT, credited me my £10,and it,s credited on todays statement online. Very good, doubt the MBNA,s one will go on as well;;we will see.
gonna use same shops again today, with both platinums, same firm, but 4 shops, (butchers). Thier Amex was only activated a couple of days ago.
amex said, if they are listed, then the offer applies.
good job I,m an insomniac, lie awake thinking where to go next(:
  • anyone know if this works more than once with the same retailer but in different locations?? eg there are a few different co-ops close to me.

Yes it does, but just because one co-op is doing it doesn't mean they all will. Check the website.

Unfortunately for me, it was only two specific co-ops that were listed near me. There are dozens of others in my vicinity, but these are not listed. Why just those two, I have no idea!

First time it happened, I emailed and got a £5 credit. Then four more listed shops didn't take Amex and so I emailed hoping to get the £20 anyway (don't ask, don't get!) - got an apology, but no credit. I guess all us savvy MSE's have been bombarding them with emails and their well has run dry!
  • thanks, there are about 6 co-ops close enough to use :j
