Is this offer still valid?!
mine is a BMI Amex card that I got couple of months ago for free 20,000 air miles.
Do I qualify?
The offer is still valid through Friday.
If you can register here and receive a confirmation e-mail, I'd assume you are eligible.
After successful purchases you typically receive an e-mail within a minute. So, if you have a smartphone, you can find out very quickly after your first purchase if you are getting the discounts.

Few minutes ago, I registered and got confirmation email :-)
Wish I knew about this when the offer started but will make the most of it.

Hi All
Has anyone had any problems with the problem using the Lloyds TSB Avios Amex card? I used the card on 18 Nov and have still not received a £5 credit. However, I have received the £5 credit for a transaction made 16 Nov. Perhaps the credit payment is in the pipeline, but I think it has probably been lost because I didn't receive a confirmatory email from Amex for 18 Nov.
I have just spent more time than the £5 credit is worth calling Lloyds and Amex trying to chase the payment. Lloyds had no idea of the promotion and say speak to Amex, Amex say speak to Lloyds - they both say they can't help!
Anyone with a similar experience or suggestions?
Thanks

Got my credits (spent in two different places) from Saturday even though I didn't receive any confirmation e-mails. So just a heads up to people who didn't get any confirmation e-mails over the weekend.0

MBNA said it was amex.
Amex said it was mbna, but refunded it. WRONGLY.
MBNA still looking into it.
If it,s on the list, it,s the responsability of the first card providor. In your case Lloyds TSB ,Amex got nothing to do with Lloyds TSB, it,s amex promotion. there database is used by Lloyds et.al for shops, on the list.
Was the shop on the list.
Usually, no E-mail no money.0 -
Hi mike, unrelated £5, do you find that Amex plat, always has a debit at the start of every new month, right at bottom of the page , even though it,s not been used ?
? Queeried it last week ,when phoned about no e-mail, they said ignore it, mistake, but I ignore nothing on statement. It,s every month.Shows I,ve made transaction, when I haven,t.
As soon as first transaction(proper)is made, then the debit is refunded.
I wonder if it,s the £20 fine for 6 month none use loaded at start, then deducted as soon as you swipe it.?
They have a wierd way of accounting.
I,ve got £47.50 credit from £5 deal on new month, spent £31 , yet owe them £23.61 ???
Only noticed it with all these £5 refunds.
Enjoy HN,s don,t forget 10% added to bill for food (discressionary)
No, only ever shows transactions I have made, and the sums have always added up. Do you have a platinum card or a platinum cashback card?0 -

Had it a few years now, no fee, got 5% at first, it,s tiered now, 0.5>1>1.25% from £6k upwards;; but use MBNA amex now, as it,s better cashback on supermarkets/petrol.1.5%, and 0.7% on all other transactions
Just using Plat for this promo really.and every now and then to avoid dormancy fee.
I get current transactions. debit. credit, balance. below transactions , and another set of debit/credit figures below, that, which always shows a debit at start of new month.?
Got me puzzled, and amex rep didn,t give me a feasable explanation.
They don,t tally with the current months figures.
PS;;Did you get your £25 HNICS ok ?0 -
Does this have any fair usage policy on it? I've used it at 17 shops now and there's still a lot more on the list!0

Going on Sunday to London.

I have an MBNA Amex - the first payment came through in two days but the other two retailers I've managed to use the card at since (all others refused) haven't credited a fiver back and I've never had an email. Is it just limited to the first £5 transaction? From everyone else's comments i didn't think so.0
