Hi Sue, thanks, I don,t have a app phone, wife does but never use apps,( hate phones, mines old nokia.;;;; Does it still work with PC only ? just same as amex £5 smallshop deal ? Does Harvey nicks go through same as amex £5, without the e-mail.
Hooked on this deal;;be lost when it ends, I never shop, wife does it all, but not this, she won,t haggle.
Hit 2 Indian takeaways last night, both on the list, confirmed prior both took amex.BUT, when I went,to First , he said MINMUM spend £10 per card, as it costs him more . I told him it did not. 3.5% per deal. offered to pay his commission, he refused;; I Didn,t argue,I refused, said he,d lost £18 deal, went to second. 200 yards away, no trouble, 3 x £5, 95 curries,no rice to takeaway and freeze. He was curious at first, but when I explained it to him, he was fine.
Not many traders know the deal is on, making you feel like a card shark, would myself I suppose.
    sick of fish and chips,

Wifes just come in from town , Havey nics and Gap, checking them out.She knows someone in HN, and apart from food, in cafe, she says she,d be lucky to get a lipstick, and cafe was heaving. probably amex users :rotfl:

GAP;;;;maybe girl was trying to put her off, but showed her t/c,s
£50 minimum spend, and £10 off second transaction only.
That,s not what you had with your tops was it mike ????????????
  • joe134 - The Foursqure only offers, (Gap, Argos, Harvey Nicholas etc) are only available if you check-in to the store and activate the offer, it is not possible to do this without using Foursquare.

I figure 99.9% of people working at these stores know nothing about the offers, unless a customer has told them, but either way, they don't need to know anything, since it's managed via Foursquare and Amex, all you need to do is activate the offer, (on Foursquare), and then spend the minimum amount, you will then get a credit on your statement a few days later.
  • Yet another offer to opt into...

    https://enroll.amexnetwork.com/GB/en/ChristmasCampaign2012/

Double membership rewards, 1% extra cashback or double avios, depending on your card, at select retailers until Christmas.

I didn't get this email. Does it look as if the printable coupon is personalised, or would you be able to share it?

    Thanks,

No, worked fine for me. Bought three hoodies in the outlet store in Gunwharf Portsmouth, which were reduced from 32.99 to 19.97 in their "sale".

Have got confirmation of cashback from foursquare on each of the transactions. Hasn't cleared on Cards yet, but don't anticipate a problem.
