I would still pop them an email with this, as world pay are just a credit card processing company not connected to the npe beyond taking payments. If they have an email at least you have proof that they have your address and name.
Just did that and received a call straight after from them but didn't pick up. we'll see how it goes, thanks for your help guys! :money:0 -
Just got myself one, been kind of looking forward to it in a strange way as I'm fully aware of lack of validity of such tickets. I think the guy is in the Pub drinking whilst watching the CCTV as he is not present on the car park.0

You just got a templated letter begging you to pay, if they had a case they wouldn't be giving more time to pay, they would be going straight to the small claims, instead of just sending letters 3 months after. Just ignore the scam letters. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

Well done ignoring so far. Just a bit more of the same til they go away.
(BTW, just gave a shopper to the Aldi store today, Plumstead Rd Norwich, a PePiPoo flyer as he got ticketed. It was a nice feeling to know he will be doing the same thing, IGNORE ticket and all empty threats.)

hello!
i recently parked down whitlingham lane on the thorpe side, unaware to the parking signs (many were too high or in very small print). When I returned to my car i received a 'NPE' Parking Charge Notice, i've been doing a bit of research and have contacted the police who are both unsure about where the area is and said its not a fine or a legal charge. I am happy to ignore this after reading this forum but i've found that the law changed about private parking companies last october and i don't know whether this charge will be perused and whether i will in turn be penalised for this? does anyone have any recent (after oct 2012) experience of this? any other advice would be lovely also.0 -
The new law changes nothing, you don't owe them a penny. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Yes..we found that too about 2 years ago...when the Bill was first discussed. Forgive me for the rant in this thread linked (not aimed at you!) but here's the position which was being asked every flippin' day recently, hence the frustration when no-one read the info and just started new threads all the time asking the same question!:

A search if the forum for 'new law' or 'Protection Freedoms' would have got lots of results.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Did the great many post-October threads here already not say anything to you?0
