I intend on appealing the notice but a bit apprehensive about just ignoring it.
Wrong thing to do, not only because we know in advance it will not be perused but because an "appeal" places you at the phony mercy of your antagonist, something you should not recognise. You have a fake invoice, not a genuine order to pay.
Now if you'd like to communicate with them, by all means do so - your letter will only be to refuse the charge on the grounds that it is an unlawful amount - it exceeds actual losses to landowner. However, let them do the chasing: they don't know that a sticker was affixed to the windscreen when the motorist returned, and who cares? Let them PAY for your details from the DVLA. By writing to them and providing them with a target, you cut that tedium out for them.
Let them chase, you just ignore.0 -
its a company car so if i dont pay will they get hassled or letters sent to them?
First of all, this is not about "will they get hassled or letters sent to them?", it is about whether the demand is lawful and your answer is a straight, NO.
If it is not lawful, then the PPC or the landowner cannot be successful in obtaining the County Court Judgement required to extract the figure they seek from anybody at all - no employer, no driver. I tell you that it is unlawful because it is a de facto penalty and not an estimate of loss resulting from alleged action concerning your motor.
Step one will still have to be, do nothing. It is not your task to go volunteering your details: LET THEM CRY OFF TO D.V.L.A. AND PAY FOR KEEPER DETAILS. Then expect a letter to reach the employer. It is here that you need to make 101% certain that the correct steps are followed. Your employer doesn't know that you ignored an invoice. Nobody except you knows that the ticket was there when you got to your car. Be that as it may, your employer must IN NO CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER quaff anybody's wage packet and forward the figure to whomever is demanding it. They must first inform you that a letter has arrived which concerns the vehicle's movement when it was with you, at which point you, or your husband, must tell your employer to name you: this way you absolve yourself from your employer. You then write per the advice given on other posts to deny the charge on account of it being unlawful, bye-bye.
However, if your employer does forward money from your wages even if your supposed contract of employment allows this, you communicate once with your employer ordering him to return the money - if he refuses, ring your nearest industrial tribunal, request an ET1 form, enter the term "Unlawful Deduction Of Wages", explain that money was quaffed and you were not named or given the chance to represent yourself, and then watch your employer sink.0 -

He had a thread on here about being the worst website for breach of the ACTUAL POFA rules.
If you get these tickets in this car park (It Is indeed Plumstead road, Norwich) please do not ignore them. Instead scan a copy up, take your reg and any personal details off it and pm it to me. I will appeal on your behalf and when it fails as it will (Jonathon may cancel it when he sees my name) i will appeal to POPLA and then ignore on your behalf.
If you do not feel comfy doing this then i am sure a more reputable member may agree to accept the scans and forward them on to me.
I am indeed in the Parking game but i deplore Jonathon. He is the lowest of the low, A scammer, a con man and a fraudster.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Just like you then. For all we know you could be the man himself. Trying to get hold of someones so called ticket so you can ensure that their legal rights are screwed etc.
You're no better than any other PPC employee. You're all the same: Dirt that thinks its above the law.0 -

If you want help, put up suitably scrubbed scans on the public forum. There are plenty of rather more independent people here.0 -
Just this moment got back from parking in this very NPE 'monitored' car park. NPE employee comes to ask me to move or get a ticket...told him to give me one(I had not parked inconsiderately btw as there were plenty empty bays and which I pointed out to him)....had to correct him re POPLA....told him it would cost NPE £32 if he gave me one of their fake tickets....told him they have never been to court...he replied "not yet,"...I replied they won't ever. He walked away w/o giving me one of NPE's fake tickets...then my wife came back with some shopping....we saw him slap a ticket in a plastic folder on another's car....he walks away....I drive up and park aside said car and get out and place inside said plastic wallet behind aforementioned fake ticket one of pepipoo's "Don't pay private parking tickets" flyer...hopefully another saved victim from the scam operated by Norfolk Parking Enforcement.....and I won't stop.

Edward was this an indian chap? or a Stocky bald guy? The bald guy is Jonathon Lecaille himself. The other chap is his lacky.
Tricky and everyone else. Basfordlad and taffy know who i am. I am most definitely not NPE.
Also i dont want any personal details just the ticket number is fine to enable me to appeal.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Did you hear any more regarding this ticket? I made the same mistake today in Aldi Norwich and received a ticket0

Hi Ice_Babe,
I have fallen fowl of this scam also.... Only after finding the ticket (invoice) on my window did I read the small print on the sign.. I mean, you see a sign with Aldi on it not far from where you park & you think you're in an Aldi car park (I was expecting it to say the same sort of thing as Morrisons - 2 or 3 hours free parking)... Especially when you drive in through an Aldi entrance!! I will look into it a little more, but from what I have read so far, it is looking likely that I will be ignoring the ticket. Surely Aldi should force the pub to have written in big letters in there spaces PUB SPACE.. This is clearly some kind of con designed to extort money from the unwary.
Let me know what you decide to do.. I am going to look into it further.
