Is there anyone you can ask to gauge how you come across to others. It can be hard to judge how you are viewed by others yourself.

My friends wife told me she thought I was very intimidating when she first met me. That was because of all reasons I didn't say that much and she thought I was judging her. She said once she got to know me she then knew I just don't get involved in conversations I know nothing about and was just listening. By all accounts this is an usual trait in the male species!

This reminds me of my daughter. She is stunning to look at but is very shy and doesn't chase men. She is convinced she is going to be on her own all her life.

My mother met my dad at 28 in the war. They were blown into a shop doorway by a bomb and he caught her. Literally.

I used to feel like that. Turned out there was someone who admired me. He was the nicest, best looking one of them all. Been my husband for the last 31 years.

I hope you find someone nice too.
