    Hi,

I've never written on one of these forums before so I hope I do ok!!

I have had a read through some of the existing forums this morning and couldn't find what I was looking for so hope someone can help me!

I have had the "delaying" letter back from HSBC after my first request for a refund. After reading these forums I am ready to go to the second letter asking for the money back and threatening the court action. The delaying letter I received from HSBC (the one with the leaflet saying they have 8 weeks to reply, etc.) came from their central customer services address. Do I write my next letter to them there or shall I go for the main address in London, or my branch address??
Also I noticed when I printed out my new interest calculater that I had missed off one of the charges (not sure how, I musn't have clicked to add the charge). Can I add this at this stage or shall I write this one off? Anyone have any ideas of wording to add this, if I am to add it?

    Thanks

Hi, I would personally send the second letter to the customer services address on the bank's letter.

As for the charge you missed I would add it to the schedule of charges (along with any others that they may have charged you since sending the previous letter) and just refer to an "updated schedule of charges".

    I hope this helps.

When sending a letter to your bank,do you send it to your own branch or to the bank's head office?

Sent mine to local branch every time... Main office is in scotland. Make sure you send them recorded... Good Luck
