Yeh....me too! Have put my account holding branch address on the letter itself, but then realised I might have to send it somewhere else! Any help would be much appreciated! I bank with Barclays!
  • Hello all

Long time reader, first time poster, be nice even if this is a multi-asked question

I no longer live in the area that my bank sort code refers to, should i send the letter requesting repayment of charges to my sort code branch, my now local branch or the PO Box address that Lloyds TSB have given me to send my letter to? Or does it not matter too much?

Would appreciate your help in this

  • Hi all,

This is my first time on a forum and my first time posting a thread so I hope it works....

I am trying to reclaim £1000 from HSBC and received my summary of charges today. I have compiled the initial claim letter but am unsure who to send it to. Do I send it to my account holding branch, or do I send it the HSBC main office? Is there a special department to send it to? If any one knows then please help me!

    Thanks:j
  • Hi Eliza, I also am claiming from HSBC, I sent all my correspondence to my local branch by recorded delivery, FAO the manager. I have yet to receive a response from HSBC but they have defended my claim so unfortunately it's now in the hands of the courts. Good luck!
  • Thanks LadyStardust! I'll send mine to the branch and see what happens. Good look in court!
