It can't be that urgent that you don't take time to read the stickies first?

The RBS' Head Office in Edinburgh (its on the Reclaim Bank Charges Help thread) is OK for the letters, but won't using this create a potential discrepancy with the MCOL court form, which won't take Scottish addresses?

Many different addresses can end up being used throughout a claim in that if you start your claim through your local branch and get a reply from a customer service department you would then reply to that department but should you end up filing on MCOL or in court you would put the registered address of the bank.

MCOL or the court won't be aware of which previous addresses you have used so there will be no discrepancy.

For those people using MCOL you should find an alternative English address in the list for those banks whose registered address is in Scotland.
  • I'm just about to post a letter to Natwest asking for my charges back, only about £200 but hey, its £200 quid.

Just wanted to know if it's best to send it to my local branch or Natwest head office.

Can you let me know where you've had more success, (local branch v head office)

    Thanks

The head office/registered address (see the Bank Charges Reclaiming Thread) is best. The branch would only have to forward it to them, and it removes any possibility of your letter getting "lost" in transit.

  • Does anyone know the head office address?

looked on Natwest site, but can't seem to find it.

    Cheers
