Should I use ths address or the RBS Litigation address on Post two of the Reclaiming Thread - has anyone succesfully claimed againt them?

I am currently in the preliminary stages of taking MINT to court, and have used the Southend-on-Sea address. The address only really comes into play if, after having lost, they still refuse to pay up and the court has to send in the bailliffs. This is extremely rare, although not unknown.

  • Hi Guys

Spent 4 hrs reading all the insightful and inspirational posts on this site now feeling confident to take the plunge and make a claim against money-grabbing Lloyds!

I have a copy of the initial letter drafted by Martin asking for a copy of all my charges in last 6yrs as per the data protection act

BUT I dont know exactly which address I should send it to? I have found 3 address's, 1 for Lloyds in Birmingham and 2 for Lloyds TSB in London. Also I am a graduate still using my e-bank account (sort code 30-25-80) does this make a difference as to where i send the initial letter?

PLEASE PLEASE can anyone clarify this for me and give me the full address that I should send the letter to

Also do I make the £10 cheque payable to Lloyds TSB?

MANY MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ALL REPLIES XXX

Do you know how long I should wait for them to pay up? Will I have to chase them too?

Sent 1st letter to local Halifax branch, got reply letter from Leeds, hand delivered 2nd letter to local branch and awaiting a reply before court action.

When and if i have to take court action do i use my Halifax i sent my letters to or do i use the head office address, if so what is that address?

Also still miffed over the added interest issue, as my charges are not broken down so i cant tell if the charges are from my bad spending or not as in one charge alone it was £298 and obviously dont want to ask for interest on something im not entitled to as i will mess up my claim and possibly lose the lot. Please correct me if im wrong as i am only days away from court action.
  • Hi all - first time poster - quick question nothing too serious.

Looking to reclaim the bank charges from the last 6 years (God knows there must be a few quid!) and have sent the original letter requesting a statement of charges to my branch of my bank (Natwest)

Is this ok? Will it still get processed? Is sending the letter to a local branch the right way to go?

Sent the letter on April 18th and haven't heard anything yet, is this normal?

I guess i need to put a smiley here now, so here's one of something i enjoy most

Thanks in advance for your help.

yep its ok to request the statements from your branch, did you include the fee aswell?

Your better off sending everything recorded so you know it got there as sometimes things have a habit of going missing!

They have 40 days to send you your statements out aswell.

    Hope this helps :)
