Hi all,
Im just about to take my bank to court to claim my charges back, can anyone tell me what Bank address do you use when listing defendants address?
Your branch or head office?
Any advice would be appreciated,
Thanks in advance.
Hi shaquis
You should use the bank's REGISTERED ADDRESS in all court papers.
There is a list of these in the HELP THREAD.
Regards

HI All, I recently received all my Bank Statements from Barclays. I have started the second letter with interest charges and completed everything. One question is which Barclays do I send it to? Is there any specific address for Barclays or is it to my local branch? Can someone please clarify which address they've used on their 2nd letter claiming the money back? - Thanks in advance, Vish0

I handed my first 2 letters in to my local branch addressed to the manager, got a reply to my first, they ignored my second---off to court I go!0

Thanks. So do you reckon I can post it to the local one then? I'll do that today. Many Thanks,

Hi Does anyone know the address for HFC Bank - the one that I need to ask for my statements. Our account wasclosed 3 years ago and I do not have any correspondence form them..
Also has anyone any experience of claiming from this bank. Was it relatively straightforward.
Thanks0 -
I would send the letter to their Head Office, afraid i dont have an address, but someone else may know. As for making two different claims,as i understand it, the £10 you are sending is requesting information they hold on you, not per account, so as long as you include all the account numbers within the letter, that should suffice.Bank charge Victories 07:MBNA:£205.77.Natwest Credit Card:£250.A&L Bank:£549.68.First Direct:£1183.50.Natwest:£112.33+£200 compo.Marbles CC:£298.Providian CC:£181.Capitol One CC:£388.46.PPI requests:A&L credit card/First Direct loan: At Court stage.Marbles CC:£213.02 refunded.GE Money:£562.34 refunded.First Direct credit card:£747.83 refunded.0

I am having a nightmare with HFC who own Marbles credit card. My acct was closed more than two years ago, and every time i call, i get fobbed off and so far not a single reply from any of my letters. Its well over the 40 days now, and still no list of charges, i've had to refer them to the information commissoner. The address i used was:
correspondence address
marbles card
po box 3615
birmingham

Dont know if you can just change the Marbles for the account specific to you or if there is a more up to date address.Bank charge Victories 07:MBNA:£205.77.Natwest Credit Card:£250.A&L Bank:£549.68.First Direct:£1183.50.Natwest:£112.33+£200 compo.Marbles CC:£298.Providian CC:£181.Capitol One CC:£388.46.PPI requests:A&L credit card/First Direct loan: At Court stage.Marbles CC:£213.02 refunded.GE Money:£562.34 refunded.First Direct credit card:£747.83 refunded.0
