I finally got to speak to someone today, my cheque is ordered, will have it in 15 days!!
At that rate it will be past 30 working days since I sent my acceptance back.
Mine loan is still running and Moorgate have not received the payment the letter stated they would in 15 days under FSA rules! My offer was dated 14th September0 -

Fail to see how 30 plus working days is quoted as being a short time on this thread!!
Did I or the others on this thread ask EGG to pay the money owed in 15 days!!0 -

If you receive your money within 30 days your wait will have been short compared with others on this thread (and others on the site).0 -

The letter from Egg quotes within 15 working days, if they can't deliver within that time, they shouldn't quote it in the first place. I got my cheque on the 19th working day but only after digging up Mr Clarks contact details, the cheque was dated 2nd Oct which was two days before I contacted Mr Clark!!0 -
I now have a letter from Canada Square Operations explaining an administrative error and that the cheque was NEVER originally ordered!!!0

Hi
I successfully had my claim for PPI on an Egg loan upheld at the beginning of September. I've filled in the acceptance form agreeing to the amount that will be paid to me (on 7th Sept) and still I have no cheque. Egg PPI Loans are now handled by Citibank and the number is just an automated systems saying you will get your cheque within 15 days. Tried Citibank Financials, no one can help. Have written to the email address on the automated system, no reply. Is anyone else experiencing these difficulties? The cheque due to me is for a significant amount, so I'm defi
Hi Kaz, I am in the same boat as you, i had my ppi claim upheld by EGG and sent acceptance form back on 19th sept. I am still waiting, 15 working days came and went 10 days ago. Have phoned Financial Ombudsman, and they say they are sending me a form out to complain about egg, i have also phoned the number that you are supposed to be able to TALK to them about their letter, so as far as I can see they are not conforming to trading standards. They actually cut this phone line off before the end of Sept. FO are aware from a huge number of people that there are big problems with Egg. My payout is supposed to be over £5k so obviously going to persist with every avenue I can find to contact them. I was going to send them an email, but if you say you dont get a reply, not much point. I will write to them with a copy of my letter from them and also a copy of my acceptance form and proof of posting, and complain abouit the time they have taken already, also mentioning that I know that they are doing this to a lot of people, and that this is considered Sharp practice, and probably contrary to Trading Standards.0 -

The whole caboodle is being wound up after having been sold to Barclaycard!

So I don't think it's ever likely they'll "conform to trading standards" again.
In addition, you'll very likely have long since had your money by the time FOS get around to dealing with any complaint.
Everyone seems to be in the same boat with delays to redress payments. I advise you to be patient, mainly because there is little else to do.0 -

In my experience it always pays to chase a bit, I did with Barclays and got my cheque much quicker without any fuss or uncertainty. I contact Simon at Citibank on Monday and he confirmed receipt of my acceptance form and advised the cheque has been requested. Estikated delivery date 5th November so not too bad. I think as EGG has been broken up it pays to check they have your form in London, I sent mine to Derby.
So 3 x successful claims now and just waiting on DFS, not holding out much hope but as they were so rude to be initially I've escalted to the FSA. Worth a shot I think.0 -
An email address would be appreciated as the citi one doesnt seem to work!
