  • I was feeling rather positive about the PPI reclaim from Egg until I read through this forum, now I'm certain I'm going to still be waiting for my cheque to arrive in December!!
Letter from CSO came totally out of the blue, the egg loan was paid off in full around 6-yrs ago, but we sent the letter back without much hope, 2-wks later we received a further letter stating the claim was agreed and if accepted we would receive the cheque within 20-working days. 2-wks passed and we received a further letter stating our acceptance letter had been received and our cheque was being processed and would be with us within 20-working days. That was last week so "fingers crossed" and I'll report back, hopefully with good news!!! :)
  • My egg CC ppi is doing my head in. Contacted egg who passed me on to barclaycard. They agreed they had my account now. Put my claim in they came back with we are investigating days later. Yes you have ppi, you applied online so tough luck basically. I did not tick the box they claim I did.
Anyway i sent my complaint off to the fos. They are dealing with it expect a delay. No probs. then gets a letter saying please fill in this form again regarding your account with canada!!!. Odd. Barclaycard said they owned it now.
Even more odd on same day i gets letter regarding canada/egg, i got another letter from barclaycard saying they are now dealing with my claim on my monument card!!! Odd as monument themselves say there was no ppi i never took it any further with them i sent a complaint to the fos. Im so confused now. Are they all connected??
  • Received an 'out of the blue' offer back in March 2013 which I accepted, then had to send letter to prove address in April but heard nothing. I tried phoning and emailing without success, finally I sent a letter in August asking to be updated on my claim and within 7 days I got a reply saying I would receive my cheque within 20 working days. My cheque arrived a week later £3808.23!!!! :j:j:j
